The sport says its final goodbye to Larry Hickmott today as he is laid to rest. Family and friends will celebrate all he did in his life and for UK cycle racing. I’ve always loved this pic of him encouraging us along in 2018 as we rode the Tour of Britain route. #RiPLarry

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Larry Hickmott of @VeloUK. He’s had a poor spell of health of late which saw him hospitalised and his partner Lynne announced the news earlier today on FB. The UK racing scene will miss his reporting, insights and presence. RIP Larry

Larry on his moped in 2018 as we rode the Tour of Britain one day ahead. He joined us for the day. Safe travels Larry and a huge thank you for the tireless work you did for the sport in the UK supporting riders, teams and race organisers. #RIP
