Meanwhile ERCOT is tracking ~410 GW of large loads seeking interconnection. ~87% data centers. ERCOT's all-time peak load is about 86 GW. Nearly 5x the peak demand of the entire Texas grid, almost all of it AI. Nobody is building that. It is option value, not projects.
