In Shivangi Bansal @ Shivangi Goel v. Sahib Bansal (2025 INSC 883), the Supreme Court recorded that her husband spent 109 days in jail and his father spent 103 days.
The Supreme Court had to direct her and her parents to publish an unconditional public apology in national English and Hindi newspapers and on social media.
The marriage was dissolved under Article 142. Connected proceedings were quashed. She lost alimony and maintenance.
Imagine the audacity!
Dragging your husband and his elderly father into criminal litigation, seeing them spend months in jail and then being ordered by the Supreme Court to apologise publicly!
And this is an IPS officer with AIR 177!
Men, think twice before marriage. A fancy degree and a prestigious designation mean absolutely nothing if the person lacks basic character and accountability.
Don’t let someone’s qualifications blind you to their character. You and your parents may end up paying the price.

Woman Offers To Ruin Men's Lives With Fake R@pe Cases For ₹20 Lakh!
A woman allegedly offered to frame innocent men in fake r@pe, molestation and POCSO cases for ₹20 lakh, demanding 50% advance payment.
She claimed her gang had 20–22 women operating across all 75 UP districts for 10–12 years, even using minor girls to implicate men.
The alleged racket offered fabricated medical reports, false statements and police connections. It reportedly even offered to frame men in narcotics cases and threatened those who betrayed the gang.
Dainik Bhaskar's sting investigation exposed an alleged racket turning rape and POCSO allegations into a money-making business in Uttar Pradesh.

A woman tried to throw her purse at a judge in the Bombay High Court because she was unhappy with the court’s order against her and her children.
The judge strongly reprimanded her and indicated that serious action and a heavy fine could follow, even though she later submitted a written apology.
Imagine if a man had done the same thing in court.

- She initiated divorce proceedings with her husband.
- Vimal was also married and told her that he would divorce his wife.
- On Sunday, at around 2:30 AM, she video-called him while he was attending a function with his mother.
- She threatened to end her life if he didn't marry her.
- During the video call, she showed him a scarf tied to the ceiling fan.
- He called her many times but received no response.
- He reached her flat around 5:30 AM and found the door locked from inside.
- Police arrived, forced open the door, and found her dead.
- Her body was sent for a post-mortem examination, and a case was registered.
- The investigation is ongoing.
So many young people are losing their lives because of affairs these days.
She was young, married, and had a good job.
Still, she lost her life.
