I’m writing again.
It’s been a while.
I’ve spent the last 30+ years working in technology, building businesses, making things, and watching one revolution after another change how we work.
But AI feels different.
I have a lot to say about it.
So I’m writing again.

Then came graphical interfaces.
Then mobile.
Now, we may be entering the age of intent.
What happens to design when we no longer operate the tools—but describe what we’re trying to accomplish?

Taste. Context. Experience.
Maybe the next great interface isn’t an interface at all. Maybe it’s understanding what the person intended in the first place.

But judgment is still scarce.
When everyone has access to the same powerful tools, the advantage won’t be having AI.
It’ll be knowing what to ask, what to keep, what to discard—and when the answer just isn’t good enough.
The better AI gets, the more your experience matters.
