AFTER 8 YEARS, DROUGHT DECLARATION RETURNS TO MAHARASHTRA
The Maharashtra government has declared drought in 265 of the state’s 358 talukas.
That means nearly 3 out of every 4 talukas are affected.
The last time Maharashtra officially declared drought was in 2018, when 151 talukas were affected.
This time, the number is 265.
If what Mr. O'Brien is saying were true, then Gandhi's non-cooperation movement would have given the British more power instead of less.
Our opposition needs to re-read the principles of non-cooperation.
Opposition boycotting elections = BJP wins all seats. Once that happens, they amend the Constitution to legalize all their crimes.
Also not contesting elections means betraying the lakhs of workers who are on the ground, fighting with their lives.
That is why it is important to fight elections to protect democratic rights, while also fighting for free and fair elections

Manchester City have been found guilty on almost all of the charges relating to breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations.
The sanctions have not been decided, with all possibilities remaining on the table, and City are expected to appeal.
