I have jev play pokemon emerald. It just gets a list of what it can do and picks one.
It got a starter and beat the first rival.
But not on its own. Some things I noticed along the way 🧵
My takeaway: Jev is great at what it's built for, which is fast, cheap, simple decisions.
It just can't plan far ahead alone. Give it clean information and keep instuctions clean, and it gets there every time.

Interesting details in here about how OpenAI researchers are using coding agents
I'd love to know what caused the huge uptick in token spend in mid-July, was that when Astra became available to employees?

ALT Screenshot of a line chart from a report, headed "1. Coding agents are reshaping daily work for OpenAI researchers" with a partially visible chart title ending "significantly—Median researcher". Y-axis: "Daily $ / researcher" from 0 to 700. X-axis labels: "Feb 2026", "Apr 2026", "Jun 2026", "Aug 2026". A blue line stays near 0 through February, rises slowly to about 50 by April and 150 by June, plateaus around 150–165 into July, then climbs steeply to roughly 600 by late August 2026.
Today we're releasing data on models accelerating research at OpenAI.
Recursive self-improvement could be the most important contributor to AI capabilities over the next few years, but by default it will only be seen inside a few frontier AI labs. Being transparent is more urgent than ever, so we can inform the public discussion on whether and how to pace model development. I ask other AI companies to do the same.

i built a machine that makes anime characters roast each other and i've never been prouder of anything 💀.
type any matchup → full generated video. it's called AnimeRoom,

Today, we're launching Nue Health, India's most affordable preventative healthcare membership.
This all first started when I heard Nithin Kamath had suffered a heart attack - someone who cared so much about health and fitness. How was this possible?
We're constantly told that we hit our "quarter life crisis" at 25 - which means we're all supposed to live till a 100 right?
Then why was I seeing so many people succumb to cancer and cardiac arrests in their 30's and 40's?
Something didn't add up.
I dug deep - there had to be a way to see this coming.
Why was everyone in the dark about what was happening inside their body?
This is when I realised that health is an extremely fragmented and uncertain experience in India.
People don't know what biomarkers to test, what to do with an 18 page blood test report, how to connect these results over time and exactly what they needed to do to improve their health.
They had the data, but they didn't know what to do with it.
We put our heads down and started building. We learnt every single thing there is to know about the space. Got engineers and researchers from Princeton onto the team - people who've been into biology since they were 14.
We're building a digital twin of the human body for every Indian - one single blood panel tested every 6 months, combined with your wearable and nutrition data, and a doctor verified action protocol so you know exactly what's happening inside your body at all times and what you need to do to improve it.
We're building a new kind of healthcare :
one that that doesn't wait for you to get sick before taking action.
one that helps you understand your unique biology.
one that India truly deserves.

AI might get 1000x faster if this is true.
A 24-person startup just hardwired Llama 3 into a chip. No GPU, no liquid cooling — just a PCIe card doing 17,000 tokens/sec.

💔tried doing this fun little build for Valentine's Day with some @claudeai code and @Remotion didn't quite finish it all, but hey, dropping an update here anyway! #DevTry #ValentinesStuff
