TTRPG COMMUNITY:
i am writing a research paper for one of my classes about representation in actual play shows, with reference to the identities held by the gamemaster.
i've created a form for people to submit their comments regarding this topic & i'd love to hear from you!

ALT google forms introduction: Representation of Marginalized Identities in Actual Play Thank you for helping me out with my research paper! For my Race and Gender in Performance course, I'm looking into how representation of marginalized identities is affected by the identity of the game-master. To do so, I'd like to hear examples of both good representation and poor representation in Actual Plays, especially from fans. This is something I've seen done largely on social media through criticism of shows for not having good representation, but I'd like to hear about both sides in a controlled space. I am also assuming good intentions here, and not hatred of the source material.
Saw #HereLiesLove with @rhinoriddler yesterday. It basically tells the historical backstory of why my parents decided to raise me in the US. It was so moving to see so many Filipinos on stage (and in the audience!). 🇵🇭💖
I have never felt so at home in a Broadway production before. There were moments and jokes that felt like Easter eggs written especially for FilAms like me. So much felt so familiar, from the costumes to the expressions to the pageant to the LINE DANCING. 😂
And I bawled my eyes out when Lea Salonga started singing. I used to listen to Miss Saigon and Aladdin on repeat when I was a little girl. I never thought I’d get to see her in person. What an honor! (@MsLeaSalonga have you ever gotten to play a Filipina on Broadway before??)
Between today and June 25, all New York City residents ages 11 and older, regardless of immigration status, will be able to vote on how to spend $5 million of mayoral expense funding to address community needs.

Love this video of my newest project: "Come By"—an interactive installation about shared storytelling and getting to know Springdale and the Northwest Arkansas community. 💖 #ComeBySpringdale (commissioned by CACHE for #FamousHardware; video by Travis Kersh)
The center of the installation highlights new treasures from local artists, including a poem by Noelia Cerna, illustrations by Maximiliano Calabotta, and a soundscape by Reilly Dickens-Hoffman. It was fabricated by Reilly Dickens-Hoffman and Jon Cromer.
I'm headed back to Springdale for a panel on Feb 9 with Springdale artist @amberperrodin + Fayetteville artist Reilly Dickens-Hoffman to discuss the power of community and collaboration in the creation of public-facing artworks. eventbrite.com/e/come-by-and…
