Per aumentare stipendi e pensioni, sostenere le famiglie o abbassare le bollette, le risorse non si trovano mai. Poi arriva Zelensky, chiede altri 70 miliardi per il 2027 e improvvisamente i soldi sembrano esserci.
Nel frattempo, gli Stati Uniti fanno affari vendendo armi all’Europa, che le acquista per inviarle all’Ucraina.
Washington incassa, Kiev chiede e Bruxelles paga. Ai cittadini europei resta il conto.
E mentre la diplomazia rimane sullo sfondo, i nostri leader continuano a confondere la fedeltà agli alleati con la sudditanza politica.
Un’Europa che trova miliardi per la guerra ma fatica a garantire una vita dignitosa ai propri cittadini ha perso la bussola. E forse anche la dignità politica.
