We’re delighted to be part of a consortium chosen by Innovate UK to build an open architecture quantum testbed ⚛️🥳 The £1.65 million project will be led by TreQ, with @rigetti, @OxfordIonics, and @qctrlHQ completing the consortium.
The project’s aim is to build a modular, open architecture quantum computing system that integrates components from across the quantum supply chain. By ensuring all components work reliably and efficiently together, the ultimate goal is to reduce integration complexity, enabling a more flexible, interoperable quantum ecosystem 💫
Qruise will contribute its rapid automated bring-up platform, QruiseOS, as one of the software options on the testbed. We’re excited to work closely with our partners to ensure seamless integration and operation of QruiseOS across all modules ✨
This project is a key step towards unlocking the full potential of quantum computing and strengthening the UK's position in the global quantum landscape. We can’t wait to get started 🙌

Real-time quantum error correction (QEC) is a critical capability that ensures logical qubits stay alive indefinitely, paving the way for scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Today, we are excited to share two updates on how we’re helping our partners make significant steps toward achieving this goal:
🔹 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝟮 𝘁𝗼 @rigetti
- Last week, we delivered ‘Deltaflow 2’, the second generation of our QEC Stack, to Rigetti Computing. Deltaflow is a world’s first comprehensive QEC solution compatible with all major qubit types.
- Our teams are now working closely to integrate Deltaflow 2 with Rigetti’s quantum computer at the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC).
🔹 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 @InfleqtionUK
- Earlier this month, we successfully integrated Deltaflow 2 with Infleqtion’s 'Sqale' neutral atom quantum computer, and qLDPC software library.
- The integration focused on achieving reliable and real-time data transfer between Infleqtion’s system and Riverlane’s QEC Stack.
🎉 With Deltaflow 2, both Rigetti and Infleqtion are now positioned to conduct advanced QEC experiments. 🎉
What’s next? 🤔
These integrations at the NQCC represent an exciting early release of Deltaflow 2 as part of our early adopter program. The full launch is scheduled for later this year, where we’ll reveal even more details on its features and performance.
See some photos from the integrations below and you can learn more about what’s coming with Deltaflow 2 here: riverlane.com/quantum-error-…

Earlier this year, we participated in the “AI for Quantum Calibration Challenge”, jointly organised by @QuantumQM and @rigetti, and hosted at the Israeli Quantum Computing Center (IQCC) 🏆
Using QruiseOS, our advanced AI-driven model learning software, we calibrated all 9 qubits and 12 couplers in under 45 minutes – a task that traditionally takes hours or even days!🚀
Key results from the Challenge:
⚛️ 99.52% single-qubit gate fidelity with zero qubit-qubit coupling (g=0)
🔥 Successful calibration of two-qubit gates like iSWAP and CZ
💫 Seamless integration with Quantum Machines' OPX1000 and @nvidia's DGX Quantum
We’re absolutely delighted with these results and look forward to continuing to collaborate with these leading quantum hardware companies to overcome the growing challenge of scaling quantum systems 🤝

Why does the world’s first low-latency quantum error correction (QEC) experiment matter?
Our VP Quantum Science, @earltcampbell, explains all in this technical update, including how our work complements @Google’s recent QEC paper: riverlane.com/news/introduci…
⏱️ The team demonstrated low-latency feedback with a scalable FPGA decoder integrated into the control system of one of @rigetti’s superconducting quantum processors.
🚪There’s still a long way to go, but this paper opens the door to the next generation of quantum experiments that go beyond purely keeping logical qubits alive and into demonstrating building blocks of fault-tolerant computation, such as lattice surgery and magic state teleportation.

Qubits are critical for storing and manipulating #quantum information. The qubit lifespan determines how long data can be stored and processed before an error occurs. This phenomenon, called quantum decoherence, is a key obstacle to operating quantum processors and sensors. ⬇️
