If there's one thing I've learnt this past decade, it's to never trust the business-ey/market-ey business partners. I've been and seen multiple friends get screwed over.
(1/2) On unrest in a crypto community. It's all about the money.
staff who continue working there despite questionable practices by the boss/cronies because... Wages.

It's sad when I see how a person I respect(ed?) evolve from humble, to confidently humble, to confident, to over confident and then to arrogant. The trajectory of what comes next is worrying and saddening.
So I'm slowly moving over to Mastodon at kopiti.am/@ridz84
It's less about vibes and more about decentralisation, data ownership, etc. Might blog about this someday.

Declaring email bankruptcy today after 5 years. Seeing some of the emails from 2017/2018 really brings back memories. Both good and painful.

With markets having gone into a slump n ppl are sad, I finally decided to check out some of the web3/nft/whateva space. Assumption is the projects out for easy money have left/down-geared. The @CryptoBengz folks have been genuinely cool. Their hodlr perks gonna make me fat(ter).
Was listening in to the Twitter Spaces @CrowdFJ hosted and glad to hear @ArvinkNft talk abt the liberal use of the label 'scam' on failed projects. Just because one lost money doesn't make things a scam. Equating a missed shot/fuckup with an actual scam legitimises the scammers.
Seems I've reached that point in my life where listening to classical music is what I need to listen to while thinking/working
I want to work on something sustainable that's truly mine, built from scratch, funded and scaled organically. The other party in a recent held the view that it's not possible these days - That everything has to be done at scale with VC money. I don't want to believe that :(
