Okayyyy, I can tell you a few reasons why I think so. I'm no expert but from the little I know, I understand that being a very good professional racecar driver does not automatically guarantee that you'll ever be privileged to become a full-fledged F1 driver. Most never will because there are only 20 seats available on the entire grid, and getting one requires massive financial backing, sponsorship, and Super Licence points.
I'm aware feeder leagues exist as well (F2, F3, F4). Proven success in these junior series is vital before attaining the recognition and points that pave the way to compete at the F1 level - which is the absolute pinnacle of motorsport engineering, speed, and competition.
The athletes are constantly putting in lots and lots of time, energy and resources to getting in shape and being able to survive the temporary hell that is the time on race tracks. Them self no small na. If e easy, everybody go dey do am.
