Sometimes, loving someone means accepting their thorns just to keep their flowers alive.
Life and love aren’t that black and white sha. Plenty people genuinely care but still avoid phone calls for different reasons.
Some work long hours and prefer short messages after a draining day, and some just express love better through showing up, doing things for you, or spending quality time offline or through other means.
Before phones existed, people loved deeply through letters, visits etc. A partner who rarely calls but always checks in other ways, remembers the little things, and is there when it actually matters can still love you deeply.
Different strokes for different folks, Communication styles differ, and forcing calls isn’t always proof of love..

I think this is similar to the FibreX I got.
The device and the installation are free, I only paid for the subscription.
This post actually made me go and read the T&Cs of MTN FlyX, which I recently got.
Apparently, we FlyX users are in a somewhat similar situation. 😂
Clause 3.1:
“The ODU remains the property of MTN Nigeria at all times.”
Clause 3.2:
You're only granted the right to use it to access MTN Broadband services.
And under Clauses 5.1 & 5.2, the equipment is tied to your registered installation address and cannot be moved elsewhere without prior authorization from MTN.
So if I change apartments tomorrow, I can't just pack my FlyX alongside my TV and fridge and move on. 😂 I need MTN's authorization to move the ODU.
The interesting part is that the MTN FlyX offer is advertised as ₦30,000 with unlimited data up to 100Mbps, free installation and a “FREE-to-use” router.
Turns out “free-to-use” is the operative phrase.
The device isn't yours. You're being given the right to use it.
Definitely something prospective FlyX customers should understand.
Something strange just happened with @MTN180.
I had a FibreX issue (the marketer messed up my details during onboarding), so I called customer care fully prepared for the usual marathon, where they'd tell you to be on hold while they connect you to a customer service agent then play music on loop for like 5 hours while you age in real time.
Got connected to an agent in less than a minute. She sorted the issue and asked me to send an email, and they replied the email in under five minutes.
I just sat there staring at my phone like… wait, is this a setup? When did MTN start moving like this? 😂
Still in mild shock.
Like, call customer support and get issues resolved in 5minutes?
Back in the days, you can't even call customer support during the day, you'd have to wait till midnight and even that time sef, if you call by 1am, you'd be lucky to get to talk to an agent by 4am. Things have changed.
