It’s even worse when they bloated the test suite so it takes an hour to run and then they push tiny pull requests for copy changes!!
We don’t need GitHub anymore!
GitHub was built for humans to look at each others code and protect releases.
We (humans) no longer “write” the code. We no longer look at the code, we have automations to verify it better than any humans would’ve.
We can assess its risk and then ship.
We don’t need GitHub anymore. We need a source control with hooks and we don’t even need a ui for it.
Claude writes about 90% of Claude Code's code.
From June to September, merged PRs more than doubled while the share reverted fell by more than 40%.
We wrote about how we changed code review to get there, and how to adopt it:

I'm not alone! I guess this is why most of my side projects turn into infra and dev ops projects within a few days of hacking.
I asked @ChatGPT to make a math practice worksheet for my daughter (grade 4).
It first created a crappy html page that didn’t work.
Then it dynamically rendered the UI inline with a personalized game and it worked perfectly!
My daughter said: “beat that IXL!” (That’s the ancient software they assign homework on).
Git was built for a different time. Not the time of agents that are always online!
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control.
In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale.
Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…
It took less than a day and now my wife can edit (code and deploy) the dashboard herself using her ChatGPT account!
I signed her to GitHub and added her to the repo which has CI/CD and auto updates the kiosk app on the frame.
Now she’s talking to ChatGPT and redesigning the whole thing to match our family’s aesthetics 😂
Family dashboard live and complete.
Plugged the photo frame into my laptop last night and used Codex remotely to root it, build the site, host it on my hetzner box, add some jokes and activities fun for my daughters, secure it… geeked out on the whole thing!
Thanks again @wesbos for the idea!

I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen
They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB
1280×800 resolution with a nice touch screen
I detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest video

I am going to make a group chat full of people hacking insanely cool things onto hardware.
Reply or retweet and I’ll add you to the chat.

Can’t stop thinking about all the possibilities to repurpose all the old hardware I have. Old kindles, iPads, a couple of MacBooks and a dell computer. Between Omarchy and rooting them as repurposed screens. Just unleashing Opus 5.5 with Ultracode and experimenting!
This is very well done!! I love it.
Introducing ChatGPT for Dishwashing
GPT-6 achieves state-of-the-art results on dishwashing benchmarks for long-running jobs and difficult stains.
The Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize Problem is a $1 million challenge about whether the equations describing fluid motion can break down. In this video, I accidentally found a counter-example while trying to optimize my dishwasher. But in reality, OpenAI used 10,000 AI agents to find a proof in 88 hours: openai.com/index/navier-stok…

Integrated login with @ChatGPT into my Japan trip app! Now it’s grounded in our itinerary and personal preferences!
Game changer for my family where they can ask questions about the trip in both English and Arabic with integrated “cards” and ticket information!
This is so fun!
It sucks that it requires a submission to get approved instead of being open with domain verification like other APIs! For a personal project it feels like an overkill to have to submit an application
@OpenAIDevs
Finally got around to trying Muse. I used it to order pizza for dinner tonight from a traditional old website. The Stripe Link integration is very well implemented and thought out. It’s a really good/solid product. I’m very impressed.
I recently built a travel app with Codex too.
Ended up hosting it on GitHub behind Cloudflare on a subdomain of my personal website with Cloudflare Google OAuth to restrict it to family emails only!
Had so much fun with it. Dark mode, 3 languages,
My wife loves it so much she wants to turn it into a journaling app for us during the trip.
Will never use a travel app again!
