$RIVN Makes no sense for VW to keep that RIVN stake and record losses on their equity books quarter after quarter. Should bring them in house (buy them outright)

$ZIM shareholders wonโt squeeze more $$ out of this unfortunately.. just more chance they get the $35

If you have a Gmail account, you need to read this.
Google's AI now scans your emails and attachments, bank statements, tax files, medical letters, all of it. It turned on by default, and there's a class-action lawsuit over how.
Here are 5 moves to shut it off, the switch is hidden in two places:
1. The Main Switch
This is the main setting Google shows you, but it's not the only one.
Gmail (Desktop):
โ๏ธ Settings โ See all settings โ Smart features and personalization โ Uncheck "Turn on smart features in Gmail, Chat, and Meet" โ Save Changes.
2. The Hidden Switch
Turning off the first setting isn't enough. Most people stop there.
On the same settings page: Google Workspace smart features โ Manage Workspace smart feature settings โ Turn off both checkboxes โ Save.
Both settings need to be turned off.
3. Your Phone
The settings don't always sync between devices, so check the Gmail app separately.
Gmail app โ Menu (โฐ) โ Settings โ Select your account โ Turn off "Smart features and personalization" โ Confirm.
4. Delete Gemini History
If you've used Gemini before, your chats may be saved, and some could be reviewed by humans.
Go to myactivity.google.com/producโฆ
โ Turn off Gemini Apps Activity โ Delete Activity โ All Time.
This removes your past Gemini chat history and stops future conversations from being saved.
5. Move Sensitive Emails
Turning off Gmail's smart features helps, but for truly private emails, consider using a separate service.
For medical, legal, or financial emails, use a free Tuta Mail account. It offers end-to-end encryption and doesn't use AI to scan your emails.
Keep Gmail for newsletters, promotions, and less sensitive messages - if you must.

The Toronto Star is lying.
These supplementary benefits are not being restored for "refugees," but for people whose refugee claims have been rejected or not yet heard, i.e. for bogus and unproven claimants.
That includes people who came to Canada, invented a fake story of persecution that was rejected even by our now extremely gullible asylum process, and are now over staying to abuse Canada's generosity.
It also includes tens of thousands of people who came here in the Trudeau wave of *temporary* foreign workers, and on *temporary* student visas, only to file asylum claims to extend their stay in Canada, at taxpayers expense.
The Toronto Star has a habit of debasing the meaning of "refugee" (i.e. someone with a well founded fear of persecution) to anyone who would claim it, regardless of the truth or the merits of their case.
The Star is an object lesson for why public trust in the media has plummeted.
(On the merits of this, what is wrong with asking these people to pay a small share of the costs of supplementary benefits that most Canadian taxpayers don't have?)

๐จ MAJOR BREAKING: Carney got caught.
He quietly walked back previously announced cuts for refugees.
Refugees & asylum seekers currently get better healthcare coverage than Canadians get.
Canadians who pay taxes, donโt get this kind of free care or get 70% or costs covered by the government.
The program is funded by taxpayers & costs nearly $1 billion.

With the $ZIM buyout now practically dead due to government opposition, a great opportunity has emerged from the ashes.
The market is effectively valuing one of the worldโs youngest and most efficient container fleets, a leading Trans-Pacific carrier, and billions of dollars of earnings potential at a negative $200 million enterprise value. Insane.
$HLAG and $MAERSK recently updated their outlooks, the positive news sent both stocks up around 7%. We believe $ZIM should benefit even more, as it has one of the highest sensitivities to spot freight rates. We expect the company to report strong results soon.
๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐
Based on current freight rates, we estimate $ZIM is currently earning approximately $0.7 to $0.8 per share every week.
Peak season is only beginning. Traditionally it starts in July and August ahead of the Christmas shopping season. This year, however, demand strengthened unusually early, with peak conditions beginning as early as May due to a shortage of available vessels.
For years analysts have predicted oversupply. They continue to ignore that effective capacity, not theoretical capacity, determines freight rates.
๐ญ. ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป
The Red Sea situation continues forcing many vessels around the Cape of Good Hope, extending voyage times and effectively removing an estimated 8-10% of global container shipping capacity. Longer voyages mean fewer vessels are available for new cargo until normal Suez traffic resumes.
๐ฎ. ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป
Ports around the world remain congested while very few major new ports are being built. Every additional day ships spend waiting effectively removes capacity from the global fleet, further tightening vessel availability.

Global trade continues growing faster than expected.
2024: ~7%
2025: ~4.8%
2026: We expect ~5%
Demand continues surprising to the upside.
The result is simple.
Analysts correctly predicted that the number of ships would increase. What they missed is that effective capacity continues shrinking because of longer voyages, port congestion and stronger-than-expected global trade. As a result, charter rates remain near multi-year highs despite fleet growth.
