Now you know. And another thing, I led the project to install these in the ballparks along with replay technologies. Fun times. Go White Sox
This should actually provoke action in many areas of Chicago media and the Tribune board should meet before Monday morning.
In a pointed rebuke of Chicago media, Jim Bosco explains the sorry state of media in Chicago.
Bosco correctly states trust in Chicago media has hit rock bottom because of, well, media bias.

Ladder 3 was one of the first firefighter units to show up at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Sadly, its crew perished in the collapse of the North Tower. Their truck is now displayed in the NYC Memorial.

The Falling Man. 9/11. He chose the window over the flames.
That photo should never leave us — not out of hate, but out of resolve.
Never forget what evil did that day.
Never forget the 2,977.
Never forget who declared war on us, and never let America grow complacent about it.

These are some of the final recorded FDNY radio communications from inside the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
In the final minutes before the tower collapsed, firefighters were still climbing toward the impact zone, searching for survivors and calling for more men to come up.
Battalion Chief Orio Palmer had reached the 78th floor. Lt. Joseph Leavey of Ladder 15 was climbing toward him. With barely two minutes remaining, Palmer called Battalion 9 Chief Edward Geraghty and told him they had access to the floors above.
Geraghty's response: “All right, I'm on my way up, Orio.”
Seconds later, a Ladder 15 firefighter radioed that he was trapped in an elevator shaft: “We're chopping through the wall to get out.”
The radio signal disappeared shortly afterward. The South Tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m.
Orio Palmer, Joseph Leavey and Edward Geraghty were killed that morning. They were still going up while others were trying to get out.

One of the all-time great Rock Hall moments: Dolly’s “Jolene” with Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox, Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran), Pink, and Sheryl Crow. Zac Brown Band held it down as the house band.
Rest easy, Dolly 🤘

CHICAGO FIREFIGHTERS & EMS, YOUR VOICES ARE HEARD!
No more minimum manning. No more sending our firefighters and EMS personnel into dangerous situations without the staffing, equipment, and resources they need.
As Mayor, my administration will prioritize full staffing, proper funding, reliable equipment, and the resources necessary to do your jobs safely.
You put your lives on the line every day protecting Chicagoans. You should never have to worry about being understaffed or whether the equipment you depend on will fail while responding to an emergency.
You protect Chicago. My administration will make sure Chicago protects you.
Your safety matters. Your lives matter. Your voices will be heard.

So we’ve got open voting season, mail-in ballots, no voter ID, no proof of citizenship, ballot harvesting, drop boxes AND birth right citizenship.
Well played, Democrats. The invasion worked.
Meanwhile so-called republicans won’t pass the Save America Act and have backed off mass deportations because it looks “mean.”

NEW: Trump's full speech on Communism in America. Worth watching the full five minutes.
"Communism is destroying our country. I would be the best communist in history. I would just promise everything would be free. Free rent, free food, everyone would vote for me. The problem is after two years the country fails. They always do. It's so easy to sell. That first year is great but then you start living in squalor. There'll be no housing, there'll be no law and order, there'll be nothing. Everyone will suffer and die. It's been happening for 1000s of years.
Assassinations are a big deal for them. They can get followers because they make promises that they cant keep. The Democrats aren't fighting back. They're afraid to fight them. They've turned left. The Communists hate people. They hate the Democrat party. This isn't stopping. It's too easy to get elected. You'll soon have nothing left. The Democrats are allowing them to go their own way and they're afraid to say anything bad because they don't want to lose elections.
This is happening before your eyes. If the Democrats fought them the way they fight me or Republicans they'd win, but they don't have the courage, so they're turning socialist themselves. Communists are Godless. They don't believe in God.
This is the biggest threat to our country since its existence 250 years ago. We should be celebrating Christ and freedom and victories and instead we're speaking about communism. These guys will attack all religions but in particularly Christianity. It's part of their deal."

Congrats, Illinois, on winning the one title no state should ever want: highest combined state and local tax burden in the country.
A median household forks over $13,099 a year straight to Springfield and City Hall. That’s 16.5% of every dollar earned and $4,472 (52%) above the national average.
Yet as lawmakers scramble through budget talks, progressives demand even more tax hikes on billionaires and corporations. You revel in the spending spree while working Illinoisans get bled dry by brutal property taxes, punishing sales taxes, and every creative fee you invent.
Other states look like bargains by comparison.
Keep squeezing us dry. At this rate, you’ll have the highest taxes on an empty state.

KEN GRIFFIN ON HOW CITADEL ACQUIRED A $30 BILLION PORTFOLIO OVERNIGHT DURING THE 2007 CREDIT CRISIS
"On a Sunday morning in the summer of 2007, one of my partners received a call from one of the two heads of Sowood Asset Management. They had lost hundreds of millions of dollars in the blink of an eye. They needed to liquidate almost all their portfolio before the open of business on Monday."
"We assembled a 50 person team. We flew 8 people to Boston to facilitate due diligence."
"The senior point person on the deal from the other bank called me from what I'm sure was a beautiful house in Greenwich. He said: 'It's getting late, this isn't gonna get done tonight. I'm heading off to bed.'"
"I said: there will be nothing to pick up in the morning. We're going to get this done."
"He sort of laughed and hung up."
"6 a.m., before the opening of the markets, we bought that entire portfolio."
The ethos Griffin attributes the Citadel culture to, quoting Abraham Lincoln:
"Things may come to those who wait. But only those things left by those who hustle."
