Mostly from Diary of a CEO, Lynn Ngugi and Dr. King'ori And some of the key takeaways I have gotten are this: - wealth is what you don't see - if you buy a Gucci bag to look rich, you only made Gucci rich - 70% of billionaires are self made, you can also do it - building wealth requires hardwork, discipline, patience and sacrifice - time is an asset - Patience is a language of the Gods who have nothing but time. You need it to build wealth - Forget about work life balance when you are starting your career, sacrifices. Work on becoming an expert at the beginning of your career. - once your cashflow from your investments exceeds your expenses that's when you start making wealth - the top 3 richest people either: do real estate, have a business, trade stocks - if you make for example $500 and your expenses are $600, you shouldn't try to save $100. Work on increasing your income through investing in your skills and improving your negotiation skills - there is always something to buy, if you make $1000000 you will find something worth $1000000. It's important to cultivate self control as early as possible. - Agriculture investments should not be a side hustle, they are actually hard 😅 I will add on this thread as I remember.
