60 hours and 2 hospitals later, Rich is finally home. Thank you to the fab doctors and nurses at Salford Royal EAU for caring for him. We had a bit of a scare and quite a few late nights this week, but he is OK. He is now sat in pyjamas on the sofa watching Newcastle United 😂 – at Salford, England

I've done, on average, 7 Parents' Evenings a year for the last 10 years as a teacher. Sometimes more. Tonight was my first ever Parents' Evening on the other side of the table. What sheer joy; I am bursting with pride. My step-kids are amazing. I love being a step-parent ❤️
