Boston hopefuls, how close were you to the 2027 cutoff?
The cutoff landed at 5:17, leaving 8,019 runners who met the qualifying standard out of the field...for now.
Qualified runners who missed the cutoff still have a chance of gaining entry through a new 1,000-runner random drawing.

While all surgeries are different, etc., I’ve had two meniscus repairs (one on each knee). Many patients get the tear cut out. It’s a much faster recovery. In a repair, the surgeon puts the meniscus back together. No weight bearing for 6 weeks. Then very slow build back.Not fun.
Giants QB Jaxson Dart will undergo knee surgery today, per sources. The surgery will be a full repair of his meniscus. He also has damage to his MCL and PCL, so those will be addressed if necessary, but the meniscus is the primary issue.
The timeline for recovery is expected to be four-to-six months. John Harbaugh didn’t rule out the possibility of returning for the playoffs, if the Giants make it.
The surgery is taking place at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
