I want the government to look into revoking licenses from landfill sites that continue to dump large amount of waste, causing hydrogen sulphide to be emitted into the atmosphere.

The EA said all agencies involved wanted a "sustainable solution" but that since the site had been abandoned and the permit with the operator no longer existed as a result, it no longer had an official role as regulator at the site. Does this mean EA are jumping ship?

It was never going to go any other way. The site would have been abandoned at some point whatever happened. The shame is that the EA have allowed the crooks who ran the place to keep making money for so long. I think we need to know why.
