Attio is a CRM. The news: agents can now hit its full data via normal SQL queries (joins, aggs, whatever), treating it like a database.
But every query still runs through Attio’s app layer—permissions, validation, policies, compliance stay enforced. Agents get flexible access without raw DB free-for-all or brittle APIs.
That’s the practical bit. Agents scale across your customer data while the guardrails stay on.

what hybrid architecture means in practice:
- scale: store 100s of millions of records
- context: every email, call, person, company and deal synced + indexed
- governance: permissions built into every feature
- interoperability: agents can reason and query via sql, mcp or APIs
In the age of agents, systems of record have never mattered more. They’ve also never been less prepared for what’s coming.
Today, we’re announcing @attio's hybrid architecture, with the controls of application software at the scale of infrastructure.
To agents, Attio looks like a database, queryable in SQL - a language they're RL’d on. Unlike a database, the business logic, policies, and compliance sit behind the query.
This makes all of Attio’s data accessible by agents in the most powerful and flexible syntax. It gives GTM teams an order of magnitude more value from their time, with the full power of agents working across the entire customer lifecycle.
A new shape of software is here.

A new type of user requires a new type of architecture.
Legacy software wasn't built for agents and now they're breaking it. Today, we're launching the next generation of our platform powered by a hybrid architecture. Building this has been the most ambitious and challenging engineering challenge of my career.
Attio now supports SQL - offering a PostgreSQL compatible connector and syntax that allows our customers and their agents to query all of their data like a database. It's transactionally consistent, horizontally scalable and allows agents to access the full context they require using a language and syntax that they're well trained on using.
Whether you're accessing your data through our UI, our API, our MCP server or now our SQL Data Connectors: your team and your agents get the full context, every time.

@F13hq is out of stealth. Welcome to the #P9family, @gpjanik & Ingimar! 👋
They’re building models that natively generate vector graphics, with precision, factuality, and utility built in from the start.
AI graphics have earned a reputation for filling space rather than adding value. Gregory and Ingimar see a much bigger opportunity: graphics that people can edit, trust, and actually use in their work. They have a clear view of where today’s models fall short and real ambition to build something fundamentally better.
Looking forward to being part of your journey, Team F13!

Once again @attio is the fastest growing CRM in the world (off a baseline that gets higher and higher).
When we started many people thought CRM was too hard and urged us to build a point solution, I'm glad we didn't.

Just launched another weather balloon that you can track at balloon.recastsystems.com
@Recast is going to be open-sourcing our $25 balloon tracker and weather sensor. Radiosondes shouldn't be $250. We want everybody launching balloons.

Today we’re unveiling Odyssey-3, a big step forward for foundation world models.
It can control robots, power humanoids, drive cars (on the roads of India!), train AIs, pilot drones, and even play video games.
We can’t wait to see what intelligent systems it enables.
Ricardo Sequerra Amram retweeted
One of the killer applications of world models is to train agents themselves.
If a world model can simulate infinite, intelligent worlds, we can push agents to new heights of intelligence and utility.
Can't wait to see what's built with Odyssey-3 ❤️

I am working on that exact problem for my PhD - How should a country value scarce electricity-grid capacity when that capacity is an input into AI compute whose market value can be orders of magnitude larger than the electricity itself?

Looking at Harvey's latest round announced yesterday, one might think "legal AI is done". Our take is that it's not.
The performance of frontier models on legal tasks is still very far from where coding models are. Part of the solution is to specialize models.
Meet @grubelai, a new research lab out of Tübingen and Munich, founded by Moritz Hardt (Director at the Max Planck Institute) and Reinhard Heckel (Professor at TU Munich) that builds dedicated datasets and new models leveraging test-time training to push the performance of legal models.
Excited to lead grubel's preseed round to help get the lab off the ground together with a great line-up of angels including Jeff Dean (former Chief Scientist of Google), Ion Stoica (Databricks cofounder), Chris Re (Together AI cofounder), Harvey's cofounders Gabe Pereyra and Winston Weinberg, and our friends Alexander Rudolf Diehl & Sauraj Gambhir (Prior Labs cofounder).
We just hired two great founding members of the technical staff: Vedant Nanda, ex-Mistral and Navid Rekabsaz, ex-Thomson Reuters. We're looking for two more AI researchers and a COO. Join us!

Welcome to the P9 family, grubel.ai! Officially out of stealth now. ⚖️
Every legal matter has its own facts, documents, and requirements. grubel is building AI that adapts to each one, automating how models learn from a matter and improve their work.
We feel lucky to be along for the journey as Moritz Hardt, Reinhard Heckel & team push the boundaries of AI in legal and beyond.
Welcome, grubel! 👋
