As a huge fan of Irish film and Shudder, this is great news
Shudder Buys Aislinn Clarke's Irish Folk Horror 'Fréwaka' (EXCLUSIVE) variety.com/2024/film/global…
For what is my favourite show of all time, this is actually quite fitting.
"Better Call Saul" has set an unfortunate Emmys record for most losses ever. It received 53 Emmy nominations during its run and never won a single one. bit.ly/3tTnJd9
#MrBatesVsThePostOffice Ooof. Really puts the Post in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I nearly punched my laptop many times in pure rage watching it.
Can't believe there are actual action movies coming out called The Bricklayer, The Painter, and The Beekeeper. Clearly many (male) screenwriters saw Ben Affleck's boring-job-secret-badass film The Accountant and said, "That. I want that."
1st episode of #NorthernLights was class. So absorbing and romantic and funny. Sooo Dublin. This is literally the tv equivalent of coming in out of the rain into the warmth. @TG4TV
Had a small involvement in Dizzy Deliveries, and it's been one of the highlights of my working life. Delighted to see it go from strength to strength!
TÁIMID AR BÍS!!! Huge thanks & congratulations to everyone involved, esp. Lámh Sign, Ringers Creative, @RTEjr, Nia Ceidiog, Joe Daly Magician, @mariadkennedy, @CianAnseo, @CNaM_ie, @dentsu_global, @KANOComms & @ClioAwards! Big thanks also to Darragh Nolan for a great piece:
Absolutely delighted to be a part of this - thanks to @ScreenIreland for putting together such a class bunch of people!

Matthew McConaughey's GREENLIGHTS is excellent and inspirational jibberish, the ramblings of a mad man that start to make sense. Would strongly recommend the @cmbc_podcast episode, which captures how brain meltingly brilliant it is. spotify.link/EFNxudj0cEb

Saw the 1st preview of The Loved Ones @GateTheatreDub and it was flawless. Gentle, hilarious, and so deeply absorbing. It's mad to see new writing of this dramaturgical quality, and to see it sit so naturally on the Gate's stage. Go see it.
Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl. I recommend this to everyone. It's fun and exciting and tragic in ways. Paul has to be up there with great book protagonists, and the writing is always beautiful.

Had the absolute joy to work closely with Jo over the last few months. She was kind, funny, incredibly intelligent, and deeply thoughtful. This is a devastating, devastating loss, for the arts and for everyone. My thoughts are with her family.
Her daughter has paid tribute to her mum’s “unique and special soul”
