This is my mate Tony on the Strada Bianche at this years L'Eroica Italia in his Merino Light jersey.
He bought his Bob Jackson with his paper round money and it's still going strong.

Zelenskyy: "When our strikes reached Yandex data centers, it suddenly became little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. Many people noticed it.
There was less hate, less division, fewer provocations because there were fewer bots. It's pretty clear where those bots were coming from.
If they disappeared when Yandex went offline, this proves once again that Europe is not the source of the problems."
The big problem is that Russia figured out how modern society consumes information a decade ago, but the West hasn't.
There are millions of bots commenting and posting Russian propaganda. There are paid influencers spreading it, with Russian bots supporting their content.
There is a gigantic machine operating to radicalize and influence Western societies, and there is not enough defense in place.
It doesn't just influence elections, it sows discord, engulfs societies in culture wars, radicalizes teenagers, and shapes political decisions when elected officials fail to read the room.
That needs to change. And fast.

Britain is not a Christian country. The people insisting it is are almost always on the far right, and they are not making a historical claim. They are drawing a border.
Ask them what they mean and the answer collapses. It’s not the Church of England, or they would have to explain why establishment stops at the Tweed. And it’s not the Kirk. It definitely isn’t the census, nor the empty pews on a Sunday. It’s not the Reformation, when this country last took Christianity seriously enough to decide which Christians counted and punished the rest. They offer no date, no doctrine, and no denominator. The phrase only ever gets thrown around as a way of saying who doesn’t belong: Muslims, migrants, anyone who won’t perform the right nostalgia. It’s a far-right slogan stapled to the book of (not very) common prayer.
The other move is worse. Religion treated as a synonym for morality, as if decency were leased from God and expired without Him. It isn’t. You don’t need a deity to know that cruelty is wrong, that a promise binds, that hurting someone weaker than you is contemptible. Atheists manage this every day without a choir. The far right’s public piety is not evidence of virtue. It’s costume. Plenty of the loudest believers keep the sermon for daylight and the damage for after dark.
It’s seven on a Monday evening and from my balcony I can hear the peal of church bells like surround-sound in the middle of Catholic Poland. That’s not evensong in a Kent village, and it’s still never been the source of right and wrong.

Are we approaching the event horizon of racism in the UK?
It seems to me that somebody should be taking control of the reins and actively driving these Neanderthals back into the caves they used to inhabit.
It seems to me that there should be some top-down leadership to stamp this out for good.
The racists are emboldened and encouraged by the fact that nobody is doing anything to stop them. Radicalised online by the likes of Tommy Robinson or Danny Tommo.
>Just as a quick aside, remember that Tommo isn't in prison for any racially aggravated crimes, only criminal damage.<
When we've got elected councillors such as George Madgwick in Portsmouth, spending his entire life online trying to whip up angry mobs — and succeeding — where does it end?
Racism is hate speech. Not free speech.
Fuck Tommy Robinson. Fuck his free speech. Lock him up as a credible threat to national security.
Yesterday in Dover and Gosport, angry mobs were screaming racial slurs into the darkness. A group of men ambushed a taxi driver by draping a racist banner across his car.
And that was on Sunday.
Today, Tice and Oakshott are out to demonise the RNLI. Again. They are fully complicit in this rising tide of hatred.
But where does it stop? How long does the government stand by and allow this tidal wave of racism to exist, without acting?
This is no longer an online echo chamber issue. There are real-world dangers involved. When will the first attacks begin?
Because then it's too late.
I urge Andy Burnham to take action. Now.
Before it's too late.
