Day 3 building racing sim with threejs, box3d. CPU players work on all tracks now, optimized up to 16 cars. Next is things like a driver, mirrors, weather, web transport multiplayer, increase car factory velocity to fill catalog. Also no idea what to name this project.

Refactored the renderer to webgpu, and all 59 open source tracks have had their visuals updated. Based on the texture and placement, I scripted it to either do a replace or enhance surface, object or whatever it is.

Cars are completely componentized as well.

New LLM benchmark, build cars with code and threejs, takes a couple passes to add all the detail, Gemini 4 Argon seems to be the best at it, Opus 5.5 and Sol 6.1 next best. Credit to the open source project Speed Dreams for tracks, can't generate anything this nice with LLMs.

This took more effort than the sword and tool catalog, Opus 5.5 historic gun catalog, starting from around 1700s up to 1900 pre world war. Using threejs and blender MCP, modern guns are a whole other thing, left that for later experiment.

Opus 5.5 upgraded my threejs hobby game, biomes and predators in basically 1 shot prompts. The biggest difference in feel with Astra and Opus 5.5 has been less hallucinations.

I can upgrade my threejs environment from this, prompting really is an art form, and altruistic token spending is a thing lol. Like giving someone your parking pass when you leave a parking lot so they don't have to pay, quite friendly.
Ever wonder what $1874.40 of Opus 5.5 tokens looks like? Wonder no more. I highly recommend watching the whole video on 1080p on a large screen with sound on. Pay attention to all the little details. - Birds flying and diving into the ocean. - Cloth, signs and lights swaying in the wind. - Crabs scuttling along the shore and burrowing when you get close. - Fish swimming alongside the whale. - Lights illuminating the dock at night Then zoom out and see the entire island. Never dipping below 60 FPS at 1440p resolution. Yes, there's a few bugs and visual artifacts, some textures need improving, the shorelines waves sometimes look funny, but these are so trivial to fix at this point. FYI I'm on the $200 subscription plan. This used 59% of my weekly usage and took 2h 7h of API time using multiple subagents, about 8h in real-time. There was extremely little technical direction here. 99% of my prompts were "Add X and Y" or "This looks weird, make it better". It's a great time for hobbyists, bad time for professionals. This experiment has further cemented my view that technical creatives are about to experience a massive disruption.

I tried a harness for jev to play chess against stockfish, jev had no chance. Still trying to figure out what to do with jev, other than replacing behavior trees for enemy AI.
