By early next week we'll have announced 88 candidates. And we're honestly chuffed to see the likes of Monica Smit describing this as 'VERY concerning'.
It’s VERY concerning that the VIC Socialists have enough members to find that many commies to run as candidates!!! It’s critical everyone in Victoria volunteers for One Nation!

VS candidate for Pascoe Vale Yasemin Shamsili was out this morning supporting striking Merri-Bek council workers - members of the ASU - fighting for a better deal than the real wage cut of 2.75% that's currently on the table. Solidarity with these legends! ✊ ❤️ 🙌

A Georgia police officer shoots and kills a beloved 1-year-old miniature donkey named HeeHaw as the animal approaches officers searching a farm for a missing child. Newly released bodycam footage shows the small donkey moving toward officers before one attempts to use a Taser and another opens fire. HeeHaw runs away before collapsing in the field. The officer claims the donkey was charging at police, but his devastated owner insists HeeHaw was simply approaching people the way he always did. The officer is on administrative leave as state investigators examine the shooting.

A few pics from the last month or so of campaigning. We've knocked on more than 160,000 doors so far and had tens of thousands of conversations with residents.

Victoria's healthcare system is in crisis - held together only by the self-sacrifice of those who make it run. Victorian Socialists led the fight to save cohealth community health clinics from closure, and in parliament we'd take up the fight for the entire health system.

Didn't need a think tank to come up with this one for us. A good idea is a good idea. 👍

Gaza is a generational touchstone and the key dividing line of politics in the West. It has laid bare the lies of the society we live in. It has exposed the genocidal bloodlust of the political right. And it tested official “progressive” liberal politics: redflag.org.au/article/the-w…
