My statement on Israel's decision to ban me and 10 other British MPs from entry. "I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people. They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return. As the world wakes up to the genocide in Gaza, it is shocking that Israel continues to deny entry to UN investigators and international journalists. Israel doesn't want the world to see what it is doing - but we can never give up in our attempts to expose the truth. That is the real scandal. Israel’s genocide cannot go unpunished - and I will keep speaking up for peace, freedom and justice for the Palestinian people."

Last year, the UK Government chose trade relations with Israel over action to stop genocide. Join our call to Andy Burnham to turn words into action – and impose meaningful sanctions on Israel to stop Israel’s war crimes. act.globaljustice.org.uk/pet…

This is an appalling lack of judgement and the surest sign yet that Britain will continue to be Trump's lackey. The war in Iran has cost countless lives, and breached international law - yet we continue to support it. Very, very concerning. Very, very continuity Starmer. – at Walthamstow, London
EXCLUSIVE: Andy Burnham has approved the use of British military bases by the US for what the UK calls defensive strikes against Iran, in a continuation of Keir Starmer’s policy even as Trump ramps up his war. Starmer chaired a COBR meeting on Friday to discuss UK policy following the resumption of US operations and amid fears of an escalating conflict. Ministers at that meeting decided to continue the existing policy that bases at Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford could be used by US planes countering the Iranian missile threat and sites used to target the Strait of Hormuz, sources say. Burnham, who became PM on Monday, was informed of the discussion and agreed with the decision taken, sources say. He will continue the previous government’s policy when it comes to approving UK bases for so-called defensive US strikes, they say. It means British bases are likely to be used for some of the current round of American operations. The decision emerges after the 10th day of renewed US action. US Central Command said it targeted Iranian military command centers, launch sites and air defences overnight. British officials have nonetheless been concerned about Trump’s threats to strike bridges and power plants. It is likely to provoke criticism from left-wing Labour MPs, the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats who have argued use of the bases makes the UK complicit in war crimes. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

This is your legacy on the occupied Palestinian territory, Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer. History will remember your complicity. Despite a partial arms suspension in 2024, Keir Starmer's government has continued to enable Israel's atrocities against Palestinians, their families and children through the supply of F-35 fighter jet parts. Nothing can change the horrors Palestinians have faced. But the next Prime Minister has an opportunity to put an end to the UK Government's role as an ally to atrocities. The UK Government must: 🔴 Suspend all arms sales to Israel 🔴 Suspend the UK-Israel trade and partnership agreement 🔴 Ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements To the next Prime Minister: what will your plaque say?

"In the first 24 hours of Starmer resigning, there were 1,485 mentions of him. Only 30 had any reference to Gaza." (And most of those made no mention of genocide.) Media Lens on how the media blacked out one of the biggest reasons Starmer was so hated: medialens.org/2026/whitewash…

REVEALED: Jewish activists @JAZA_UK have shown us material from inside an Israeli property event in London yesterday, which shows that illegal settlements on Palestinian land were on sale in the UK. Activists gained access to the event, spoke to numerous developers about the properties for sale in Israeli settlements - which are illegal under British and international law - before they were ejected for disrupting the speeches. The Board of Deputies, which calls itself a representational body for British Jews, claimed that all properties being sold were inside Israel, however these pamphlets clearly show the opposite is true.

There is now clear evidence that the Great Israeli Real Estate event had unlawful activity at it. I've written to the Mayor of London to ask what he intends to do about it. This needs to be escalated immediately.

This is a really grim decision alongside Cenk. People often talk about dangerous road we'd go down under a Reform government - this is another clear warning we're down there already. A Labour government doing everything possible to silence criticism of the Israeli Government.
Last year Hasan Piker spoke at The Oxford Union and highlighted the rise of antisemitism, fascism and the dangerous conflation between criticism of Israel and all Jewish people. He was invited to speak again but pro-Israel groups successfully persuaded the UK Gov to ban him from entering the country.

This research by Queen Mary University of London should be a wake up call for the UK government and judicial institutions: 286 political prisoners in Britain, held in relation to their activism for Palestinian rights or against fossil fuel. Prison sentences for acts of direct action or civil disobedience (which were once rare) are now being imposed with increasing length and frequency. In Great Britain. theguardian.com/law/2026/may…
