The state of web3 is actually pretty lame. There's too much focus on temporary trends and infrastructure for use cases that solve a non-existent problem.
We could speed things up if we focus on our shared vision?
So what is that? I'll start.

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.
My finance professor made the following statement often:
"there is no free lunch".
Meaning you have to risk something to earn money. And when you think deeply about this statement it's really true. @flyingtulip_ is the best thing you can do. I would call it almost free lunch.
If you bought a put last year in the primary sale you are guaranteed to get back 100% of your money at anytime. This caps your financial risk to your opportunity costs. Those are very real but given the high potential of $FT neglectable. Smart contract risk is the only real risk.
Replying to @flyingtulip_
@flyingtulip_ is unique because you can buy (put marketplace) HIGH absolute stake for LOW risk exposure. Comparing to past average early stage crypto deals $FT gives you better upside while minimizing risk.
In easier words: you can earn a lot while keeping potential losses low.
to add some context:
- early stage crypto deals made you risk 100% of your capital traditionally.
- the upside usually came from engineered hype over product success.
- terms were somewhat like: you pay 100m fdv for a token you only get 2 years after it initially lists.
This is drastically worse than what @flyingtulip_ offers:
- you can get your money back (partially for secondary buyers).
- upside comes from actual product success (longterm view).
- your position is fully liquid at any time.
Funny thing is that now that everyone realized how bad most altcoins are this makes room for $icp to shine. It already had all the hate in the world. This is the environment it will prosper.

All unallocated officially burned.
$2.03m of circulating already bought back and burned.
mcap = $1,496,983.411
rev = $2,136,000/year
tvl = $75m (options + margin accounts + ftusd)
All option investors capital protected and already ITM by +50%.
Daily buybacks cumulative already $217k, averaging 10k FT/day.
New tokenomics are still possible.
flyingtulip.com/statistics/f…
Another 330M FT from the unallocated supply has been burned.
This burn permanently removes tokens that were already non-circulating, leaving circulating supply unchanged. It is separate from the protocol’s open-market buybacks.
Cumulative burns have now reduced total FT supply from the initial 10B to approximately 520M, with only around 30M FT remaining unallocated.

Perps dominate crypto leverage. Andre Cronje’s @flyingtulip_ wants to give traders another option.
Trade + Total Return Swaps are now live, using one margin account and financing tied to borrowing costs.

ANDRE CRONJE'S FLYING TULIP TARGETS DEFI EXPLOITS WITH CIRCUIT BREAKER
Andre Cronje’s (@AndreCronjeTech) Flying Tulip (@flyingtulip_) has introduced a circuit breaker mechanism for DeFi lending.
The system rate limits fund outflows during abnormal withdrawal activity. It is designed to detect patterns linked to exploits or coordinated attacks.
By slowing withdrawals, it prevents rapid draining of protocol liquidity.
The mechanism gives teams time to respond while protecting user capital.

Your activity, now rewarded.
Introducing Flying Tulip Rewards. Put your capital to work across ftUSD, Lend, Trade and TRS, and earn extra FT rewards for eligible activity.
▸ Flying Tulip allocates 20% of protocol revenue to ecosystem contributors, with transparent rules for how rewards accrue. Rewards are distributed in FT purchased on the open market.

Q:What is Flying Tulip TRS?
A: Leveraged Aggregator, comparable to perps.
One can pay only 1.8% yearly to long 10 BTC on
@flyingtulip_. (For comparison 10.95% on HyperLiquid)
Q:How about Liquidity?
A: Huge liquidity. It uses liquidity on the entire chain, just like an aggregator (e.g. 1inch, Cow Swap).
Q:How does it work?
A: 🧵👇
After retail left crypto for being fucked by low float coins they are in the process of being fucked by low float stocks? Irony is on point ngl

As someone with Hungarian roots, I have deep respect for Hungary’s history as a freedom-loving nation that stood up to Soviet oppression in 1956. But today, under Prime Minister Orbán, Hungary has become the most unreliable country in NATO and undermined Ukraine and our allies from within. The BLOCK PUTIN Act makes clear there will be consequences for blocking support to Ukraine, deepening reliance on Russian energy, and reinforces our commitment to our allies.
