Oh NOW ppl deserve protection from violent offenders
Tory Lanez has filed a $100 million lawsuit against California prison officials, including Warden Thomas Valdez, after he was stabbed 14 times by another inmate in 2025.
Lanez suffered two collapsed lungs in the attack and claims prison staff failed to protect him by housing him with a violent offender and leaving the area unsupervised.
The warden is pushing back, denying any liability and rejecting claims of deliberate indifference.
