Islamic Emirate Spokesperson: Pakistan Not Seeking Dialogue to Resolve Tensions with Afghanistan
Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, says Afghanistan has recently made efforts to resolve tensions between Kabul and Islamabad through dialogue, but these efforts have yet to produce results.
In an interview with Hurriyat Radio, Mr. Mujahid confirmed that messages have been exchanged between Kabul and Islamabad.
He noted that efforts by mediating nations, as well as by Islamic Emirate officials, have also failed to ease tensions between the two countries.
According to him, Pakistan's insistence on flawed policies has obstructed the resolution of tensions through dialogue, and Islamabad lacks the necessary willingness to pursue a peaceful settlement of its differences with Kabul.
The Islamic Emirate spokesperson reiterated that Afghanistan is not the source of these problems and remains committed to resolving differences through talks and negotiations.
