honestly i havenāt read in a really long time which is soo bad, but if i were to pick up a book now it probably would be non-fiction, educational type of book or something for my mental health.

i think mao has great things going on (i still need to catch up and stuff) but i think itās problem is itās just being advertised in the shadow of inuyasha and has been given no identity apart from it. the studio is pushing it as well with the art style and promos.
iām sure he would sensitive with his own son or a baby boy, people always see the way he treats children but itās really just because he acts more like an older brother than anything. being a parent changes a lot of the dynamic, he would be much nicer to his own son than shippo

itās a hny thing so i donāt technically consider it canon, but i absolutely love any characterization of inuyasha that lets his doggy traits peak through. the nuzzling is so cute, as well as enjoying kagomeās scent (or noticing itās changes), or getting sick from chocolate
because inuyasha has such a strong sense of smell, just being near kagome is enough for him. he just loves to hold her as close as possible. he probably sleeps so peacefully when theyāre married because of how close they are
