The SEO Framework is still the best SEO plugin in the WordPress ecosystem IMO. Just started sponsoring @SybreWaaijer on GitHub as a small thank you for all these years of great work โค๏ธ
Consider chipping in if you rely on it: github.com/sponsors/sybrew
Asked Opus 5.5 to make a fan site for Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
It grabbed the shareware files and decoded the old EGA graphics formats so every sprite, tile, backdrop and font on the page comes straight from the game

GitHub CLI adding --attach for uploading media has been incredibly useful (since v2.99.0 last month)
Already had docs for agents to record demos/take screenshots on a project (shoutout agent-browser), and now the PR skill uses the GH CLI to attach them while opening the PR
Back when Sage used to be called the Roots Theme, it was one of the first WordPress themes to add a build system
v6.5.0 used Grunt and Bootstrap v3 with Less, and shortly after we added Bower ๐ด
Awesome idea! I also add the environment to the shell prompt on my k8s pods so I'm never wondering which env I'm on

Earlier this year I made a @discourse plugin for returning forum content as Markdown when a client sends ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐๐๐ก๐/๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ or appends .๐๐ to any content URL
Discourse core now supports it out of the box and is agent ready ๐ค
meta.discourse.org/t/discourโฆ
The new @Cloudflare site is a great baseline โ it checks whether you return Markdown
โจ acceptmarkdown.com checks whether you return it correctly (Vary, q-values, 406, Link rel=alternate), tracks which AI agents actually adopt the standard, and includes integration guides
๐จ PSA for Radicle users: the latest WordPress security releases (7.0.6, 7.1.2) break Blade views that live outside the theme directory. Front-end fatals with memory exhaustion, wp-admin looks fine.
Fixed in Acorn v6.3.0. Update before you update WordPress.
If you're using Radicle with WooCommerce, you'll also need changes applied to the sage-woocommerce package. See this topic for more details:

Just launched an EmDash site after several weeks of development. Some thoughts:
- You'll appreciate Gutenberg more
- The admin isn't anywhere near as customizable as WordPress, but the plugin setup is fairly good
- Site URL has to be changed in the DB, with no UI (there's a Site URL field, but it doesn't control ๐๐๐๐๐๐:๐๐๐๐_๐๐๐, which governs passkey rpId and magic-link hosts)
- Moving from workers.โdev to the real domain invalidates every passkey. There's no passkey management in the admin (the full API is there, just not exposed), so recovery means either the browser console or deleting and re-inviting the user
- Lots of little weird shit, like invited users not appearing in the users list at all until they accept
I don't regret building this site in EmDash instead of WordPress, but it has a looooong way to go.
Ironic coming from someone who looks like heโs mid-hypomanic episode
This isnโt an anti-DHH tweet, Iโm tired of tech bros dunking on mental health, like levelsioโs โjust workout & eat red meat bro, mental illness solved!โ shit
(I wish I could flip a switch and be in hypomania)

Feels like WP Engine is implying "WooCommerce isn't for high-growth stores" which isn't trueโฆ Woo handles big volume (I work on one of many)
If you're leaving Woo, why in the world pick BigCommerce over Shopify? Always felt mid & it's barely growing (ARR +3% vs Shopify +16%)
WP Engine's second vertical platform launch this year targets mid-market merchants doing millions in revenue who've outgrown their existing commerce stack.

๐ quien โ a better WHOIS. Domain lookups with a clean TUI instead of parsing raw ๐ ๐๐๐๐ output. DNS records, mail config, SSL certs, HTTP headers, and tech stack detection all in one tool.

Smells like almost all official WooCommerce paid extensions do this. Ran into another today:
WooCommerce Shipping also bundles an unprefixed old ver of ๐๐๐/๐๐๐
5 of 7 known Acorn conflicts are official @WooCommerce extensions:

Getting real tired of official @WooCommerce plugins not namespacing their deps. Ran into a new one today:
Google for WooCommerce bundles old versions of psr/log and monolog.
Who knows how many of their other plugins do this.

Someone submitted a feature request in 2019 to Gutenberg asking for multiple styles support on blocks. Wild that this hasn't been prioritized:
