We hope you'll be our Valentine tomorrow and join us for a service online OR in person!!

Are you a peacekeeper or a peacemaker? Jesus didn't teach us to "not rock the boat" or to keep the status quo, but gave us an example of how to enter into conflict for the sake of a relationship. To have a clean fight. To be a peaceMAKER.
We ❤️ KC and we 💛 The Chiefs, so we're pretty excited about that win last night! Remember, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and then beat the Buccaneers." ...just kidding. Not a real verse. God has no favorites, but the social media lady definitely does. Go Chiefs!!

The world is hungry for hope. Have you committed to joining this journey? Only 3 more weeks left until our ONE series begins! To join a group, and to tell us who your one for ONE is, head to the Restore app!
Healthy relationships require good listening. To listen incarnationally, we need to learn how to ask good questions. Troy helped us learn this during Sunday's message, and even gave some pointers on what kinds of questions to ask!
Today, we celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His dream was to see unity, justice, and freedom— and there is still work to be done! The work of racial reconciliation is gospel work; it matters to God, therefore it must matter to us, too.
Beginning Sunday, February 14th, we have the opportunity tot gather in person for Celebration Services again! We have missed you dearly and can't wait to see you soon. Keep an eye out for more details coming soon!

We are all about helping people find their way back to God-- whether that happens on a TV, a laptop, a smart phone, or in a classroom, church building, or office space. Look for news on regathering plans very soon. We hope to see you online this Sunday at 9am, 10:30am, or 8pm!
God made emotions, & it's good to make time in your life to learn how to process them in a healthy way-- not to shove them down or let them control you, but to approach your emotions with compassion & curiosity. Check out a helpful resource at feelingswheel.com.
There may not be any @Chiefs football today BUT it’s a good Sunday for this #SchoolPsych when my church, @restorecc, is talking about emotionally healthy relationships and they say “emotions are data”, quote Insides out AND share the feelings wheel. #Happy #MentalHealthMatters

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
"He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be our peace" Micah 5:4-5a
We are SO excited to begin our Christmas series this weekend, called "B.C. : Before Christmas." Join us for the first week as we learn from the prophet Micah about a coming king and a promise of peace.
Feeling too busy getting ready for Christmas to actually enjoy the season? Make your holiday experience with your family more intentional with this CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT adventure.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 We have so, so much to be grateful for on this day-- first and always for our Jesus, and the life we can have because of Him.
Over a meal or while driving, talk with your family about some things you wrote down that you’re thankful for this week. Make sure to talk about why you’re thankful for each person or thing on your list.
God is our source and everything good comes from Him!
To help you experience the practice of thankfulness, we've set up daily text reminders with gratitude prompts! This is a super easy, super handy way to spend a few moments each day allowing God to transform our hearts from whining to worshipping. What are you grateful for today?
Today we give special honor and thanks to all those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Thank you for your dedication to our freedom and the sacrifices you have made to serve. Happy Veteran's Day!
