Most of the builder stays free. Paid adds only two things: hide the Request Forms link, and serve hosted forms on your own domain.

Hide branding:
Paid removes the Request Forms logo and link on hosted and embed forms. Free keeps both. The embed homepage link stays crawlable on Free (do not add rel="nofollow").
Where this sits:
Typeform own-domain is Enterprise. Fillout custom domain is on Business. Jotform custom domain starts on Gold. Google and Microsoft Forms keep vendor branding.
Upgrade: sign in → organization → Stripe.

When to use it:
CI form CRUD. Pull responses into a pipeline. Smoke-test /api/health after deploy. Agents that want a CLI instead of writing fetch wrappers.
Prefer MCP at /mcp when you want OAuth sign-in and the builder agent without a key.

The CLI and org API keys stay free (rate limits apply). No separate forms API subscription.

Public commands need no key. Set REQUESTFORMS_API_URL or --base-url only if you point at another origin.
Other tools too:
create_form, add_block, publish_form, get_share_info, list_responses, submit_response. Call list_block_kinds for catalog names. Template, org, billing, and Stripe Connect tools match the website.
OAuth vs API keys:
Hosted MCP = OAuth 2.1 + PKCE to your user session. Org API keys = separate Bearer rfk_ tokens on /api/v1. Do not send a session JWT as Bearer rfk_. Both stay free.

Create an rfk_ key on the organization page. Call /api/v1 with Authorization: Bearer rfk_... to create and update forms, read submissions, manage webhooks, and read analytics.

GET /api for the catalog. Health and platform stats. Fetch a published form schema and POST answers for headless CMS. Math captcha applies on anonymous submits.
