repo.ing tokenized itself on repo.ing. $REPOING is live. The Market for our own GitHub repository. Same launcher. Same fee rules. Same graduation path. Open source projects. Open source markets. Here’s how the economics work ↓

still working on pushing out hooks ran into some issues & want it to launch smooth without flaws. Thanks for the patience. in the meantime github.com/amontlabs/lcu.git is pretty cool, lets Claude use computer use inside codex desktop app. the mechanic could be remixed a few cool ways

short story : one reason I built repo.ing was, because when I first dabbled with AI through OpenClaw last year, I became obsessed with digging through open-source repos. Feeding them into deep research over and over. I had a Google Drive folder called “the armory” where I’d save everything cool I found, then spend hours using deep NotebookLM to figure out what I could combine , build or make possible that’s still how I think about repos. they’re lego blocks. someone builds a great piece, someone else finds it, combines it with a few others, and suddenly you have something completely new. hooks are the same thing too: small, composable pieces anyone can pick up, remix, stack, and build with.

traces traces traces was pounding on this yesterday…
Now in public beta, Claude Platform can send OpenTelemetry traces from the Messages API, Claude Managed Agents, and the Claude SDKs to your observability stack.

i genuinely believe we're entering the easiest time in history to build software, or really anything in general, yet everyone seems more interested in chasing the next thing than actually creating something. AI has completely changed what's possible for a single person the vision goes beyond another token launchpad. i can see a future where every GitHub repo can become something people discover, support, fund and participate in. where agents live inside those codebases, writing code, shipping products, running experiments and eventually launching their own markets directly from the repo. where the work those agents produce becomes valuable data. execution traces, failures, improvements and real outcomes. all feeding into a marketplace that can help train the next generation of models. where builders can turn their earnings into AI inference credits, allowing their own projects to fund the compute they need to keep building. and where revenue generated across this ecosystem flows back into the platform, funding development and supporting solana:59PXVfJ28HLYpdYLz8rt8ziE9EWbK4mS8xvq38NUQ1Be through buybacks. it's a flywheel. more builders → more repos → more agents → more useful data → more revenue → more building. right now i'm building this mostly solo. i've had a few friends pitch in along the way who i'm genuinely grateful for, but the commits are public, the products are real, and i'm legitimately sitting in front of a screen all day trying to make this work. some days it's frustrating watching people chase the same recycled bullshit narratives while the tools to create entirely new things are sitting right in front of us. we have access to technology that would've seemed like science fiction just a few years ago, and somehow we're still making the same shit over and over again. i just don't understand why more people aren't building. ( I do to an extent) but i believe the biggest opportunities come from creating something I think is cool, genuinely useful, something that people actually want to use, build on and be part of. i'm building for a place where software doesn't just sit on GitHub collecting stars. it can have its own economy, its own agents, its own community and the ability to fund its own development. open source isn't just something people contribute to for free, but something that can create real economic opportunity for the people behind it. that's what im shapeing repo.ing to become. the market layer for open source. still a yuuuge amount of work ahead of me. but i'm going to keep building towards that goal. tag along :)

quick smol update: this a one man show atm, I can’t change the fact that all the people on this chain chase slop to quick flip for $50. I’ll be pushing a few new things today, had 300 + commits yesterday all visible onchain but it’s been a very eye opening experience will be making some adjustments for future updates & operations in general :) open source markets here, patience

if you have time today give this a watch, really good talk
No pull requests, no code review. We push to main. Our agents read production logs, watch deploys, grant feature flags, and check their own work end to end. Here's how we do that:
