Taiwan has the highest JAM per capita of anywhere in the world! @Polkadot Two local teams (of the 35 total) are building clients for this next generation protocol! And the room is packed at the @pala_labs JAM tour at @taiwan_tech!

A second option is the DF-funded Kwikbit by @celadari_dev, but I believe this is in progress rather than released already: medium.com/web3foundation/de…

I am joining you. But it took longer than five minutes😄

Adding an auto-detected multisig to Polkadot Multisig in 2 min Multisig usage in @Polkadot doesn't have to be hard! Recently I was notified by Polkadot Multisig that it detected two newly created multisigs that I was a member of for @PermanenceDAO. This video shows the process of importing and configuring those. Steps 1. Polkadot Multisig will autodetect new multisigs and prompt you to add them. 2. For each one, you just need to name it and click "Add to Signet." This only needs to be done once for the multisig, and all signers will be able to see it. 3. There's no Step 3 :) Note: this auto-detection and import happens if the multisig is created somewhere else, such as Multix, Nova Spektr, Polkasafe, Mimir or Polkadot.js.

Importing a multisig into Polkadot.js and signing a transaction on People Chain in 3.5 min I recently needed to sign a multisig transaction to help set on-chain identity of @PermanenceDAO. Note this is a regular multisig (a "deterministic multisig") without a pure proxy in front of it. This kind of multisig usage is common when working with teams or bounties in @Polkadot, so it's good to be familiar with how to do it. Steps 1. First, we need to switch to the right chain in PJS (this one is on the People Chain) 2. Then, you need to add the addresses from the multisig to the address book in PJS. 3. Then you create the multisig using the "+ Multisig" button on the Accounts Page. Select the addresses and input the decision threshold. 4. Note that the same multisigs are populated locally in the browser across each of the system chains (e.g. Relay Chain, People Chain, etc.), so you only need to add them once. 5. If you have a pending transaction, PJS will show an icon that you can click on. In this case there is a pending tx waiting for me. 6. In this example, there are 9 signers on the multisig, and the threshold is 5. Since I am the final signer (5th of 5) in the process, then I will also need to add in the calldata in order to execute the transaction. The first signer has sent this to me separately. Then the tx is executed. That's it!

Same wavelength, bought this yesterday 😎 Have an electronic copy already, but figured I’d rather have it on my desk as we go through this process. Who else is in?

Did you know that multisigs in @Polkadot can connect to dapps? This is helpful to access transactions that are not supported natively in the multisig software and to avoid the complex and mistake-prone process of using PJS to craft extrinsics. I recently had to do this and made a 3-minute video, showing the process. It uses @wearetalisman wallet and Polkadot Multisig. Let me show you how it works! note! the dapp does not have to modify itself in any way for this to work, so it's compatible with the hundreds of dapps available in the Polkadot ecosystem Process: 1. Add your multisig to Talisman wallet (browser extension), where it will appear along with your other accounts 2. Visit the dapp, and use Talisman to connect the dapp to the multisig 3. Initiate the transaction in the dapp, just as you would with a normal account. Talisman browser extension will prompt you to approve the transaction in Signet (Polkadot Multisig). 4. The multisig signing process proceeds as usual. The other signers can validate the transaction and sign/execute the tx. p.s. thanks to @kheopswap (featured in this video) for being an awesome front end for asset hub, supporting swaps, teleports and transfers p.p.s. notice this also shows you how to craft a draft transaction that can be viewed and shared among members of the multisig for later approval
