A fabulous evening at Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. I was reminded again (how could I forget) how generous and welcoming the business community in the Borders can be and how many genuinely authentic and lovely people there are.

A fantastic trip to the Highlands to meet with rural estate clients and get to see renewables projects up close. Also spending time with colleagues @WrightJohnston in Inverness. But the highlight? Lunch @TheSTOREHOUSE at Foulis Ferry #foodforhungrylawyers #lawyersforbusiness

Many thanks for having me to the PAC @SP_PublicAudit Please watch the whole hearing if you can.
“It is really demoralising when you know that you could be doing more.” This week we heard from @DrIMChairSGPC, Chair of @BMAScotland on General Practice: Progress since the 2018 General Medical Services contract. Listen to what he told us about how many GPs are feeling👇

A fabulous event.
The annual @BordersBookFest, sponsored by our colleagues @dcslegaluk, has started. Some of the team & their guests had a great time last night at the Michael Palin: There and Back event📚 The four-day event in Melrose promises to be a weekend rich in culture and much more.

Quite possibly the best iteration of @BordersBookFest yet. We ended with the inspiring Si King, Hairy Biker. Fabulous.

Yet again @DrIMChairSGPC makes it very clear just how precarious a position general practice is in. I do wonder what has to happen for the politicians to actually do something to fix it instead of squabbling and posturing.
🗣️Today our Scottish GP committee chair @DrIMChairSGPC warns: GPs are increasingly concerned about the survival of practices, with many warning there is “no realistic chance” of meeting demand from patients 👀⬇️ bma.org.uk/bma-media-centre/…

Good morning. Monday again. Time to prepare for another week this time involving much in the renewable energy sector.
