Among the many things that bring me joy in working at @browsercompany: taking on a feature outside my performance engineer scope that solves my own pain point, dogfooding it internally, getting a ton of positive feedback, and shipping it to @diabrowser the week after 🥰 more in🧵
Yesterday we launched a small but fun @diabrowser feature: try typing “new doc”, “new ticket”, “new table”, or “new slide” in the command bar... the first suggestion will take you straight to where you want to go, no time wasted.
Personal take: I was at Google many years ago when the Docs/Sheets team launched the docs.new and sheets.new shortcut domains, and I remember how that tiny thing was transformative for me. It removes a lot of the cognitive overhead of writing content.
A big shoutout to @arcinternet Early Birds! This week you (yes you!) helped us identify not one, but TWO serious regressions that could have had landed on Arc, but thanks to those valuable Arc members, we fixed them on time for tomorrow's release! 💙arc.net/earlybirds
Dear @arcinternet Early Birds! Thank you for your contributions to make Arc better for everyone. We hear you and will soon give you back your beloved Early Birds icon :-) arc.net/earlybirds
