It’s one day left before Nigeria gets to see the world we created. A world that questions what Nigeria would have done if we never discovered oil. Our excitement is over the roof and we hope you all are too. See you tomorrow 📌 A LAND APART is in cinemas on the 23rd of October

It was a pleasure to moderate the fireside chat “Sovereign by Design: Africa’s Choice on Health Data and AI” at the Articifial Intelligence in Health Summit 2026 organised by @ahfidng, with Jean Philbert Nsengimana (@nsengimanajp) and Prof Annie Hartley (LiGHT) Who controls our health data? Who determines its use? What will African institutions pay to access the technologies they depend on? Data sovereignty extends beyond storage. Ownership, governance, skills and technical capacity shape Africa’s ability to influence these technologies. We discussed gaps across the continent, promising tools including #MOVE, and the need to unite our data and strengthen collaboration. I also contributed to a discussion on responsible AI use in healthcare. As people seek medical advice from AI, safeguards, public awareness, regulation and accountability matter. Africa must have the capacity and agency to shape how health data and AI improve health outcomes. Thank you to the AI in Health Summit for these important discussions. #AIinHealth #HealthData #DataSovereignty #DigitalHealth #AIinHealthSummit2026 @nighealthwatch @dsn_ai_network

Climate change and extreme weather events can be out of our control individually, but there are things that are in our control. As temperatures soar in Nigeria, let us take the heat seriously. #ElNino #ShadesofUs #StaySafe
Extreme Heat Is Dangerous. Stay Cool, Stay Hydrated, Stay Safe. Drink water regularly, stay in the shade, and avoid strenuous activities during the hottest hours of the day. #ShadesofUs #StaySafe

Midnight Museum. The show is…unique. Some of what I have seen in each episode is not just different, it is also told in a way that gives me the creeps. How did they think of these? THIS is why I watch multiple genres of film and TV shows. There is a vast world out there.

This message is especially important as we have gone into campaign season for the 2026 General Elections in Nigeria. We must first look at ourselves as Nigerians first. And we must stand up against the vile tribalism and hate that is becoming common. #ShadesofUs #SayNoToHate
There is an urgency we must have to combat racism and racial discrimination. In Africa, we must also add the elimination of tribalism. We can only prosper as a people when we end racism and tribalism. Zero discrimination starts with you and me! #ShadesofUs #SayNoToHate
