Brad Gerstner, architect of Trump Accounts:
70% of families in America don't have an investment account — they do not have skin in the upside of America...
This is going to be solved in one of two ways: you're either going to get bigger government programs, more fighting for UBI, more redistribution...
Or we can harness the power of free enterprise and capitalism...
We can allow them to see firsthand the power of compounding growth.

Nice quote for our confrontational times from a new @DavidDeutschOxf interview with @ChrisWillx:
'And so we have something in common with everyone else, who is also at the beginning [of infinity].
And to hold oneself up as an authority is a philosophical mistake, as well as a sociological mistake or a cultural mistake; it's a power play, rather than a participation in the growth of knowledge, which we should all be participating in.'

Spectrum Street Epistemology "is meant to be nonconfrontational" because it is just asking "what would it take to become a little less certain" about your arguments, @ULethbridge and @ULFAssociation.

“Women should have control over their bodies, and 81 percent of Americans agree that [abortion] decisions should stay between a woman and her doctor, not the government, and not you.”
Progressive writer @Deja_Foxx challenges conservative commentator @Conservmillen's stance on abortion.

I'm watching the scene and every time the Zuckerberg character rebuts some awful pro-censorship line from Bill Burr I'm muttering "based" and "even more based" and "yes this" and "exactly right, yes." I suspect I'm not alone.

Contrast two kinds of men now arguing over America's future.
One looked at empty Texas scrubland and saw the largest building on Earth, then summoned $16.8 billion in capital, thousands of construction tradesmen, and 3,000 permanent minds to raise and run it. Before that he saw rockets landing upright when every expert called it fantasy, and electric cars people would line up to buy, and he materialized those too. His tools are reason, vision, and trade. Every dollar he commands was handed to him by a customer who got something better in return.
The other kind is the politician who could not pour one yard of that concrete. But he holds the one tool of his trade, the state's gun. He calls the building excess, drafts the wealth tax to seize its output, and names the seizure compassion and justice. Ask the senator demanding Musk's billions what he has ever built. His one skill is the forced transfer of what abler men have made.
When Terafab rises, understand what you are looking at. The unforced human mind, made visible at scale. The looters will still demand their cut, and the demand itself is the confession. Nobody loots an empty desert. Wealth must be created before it can be seized, and it is created by men like Musk.
