I keep getting "402: Payment Required" when trying to publish my sbt plugin. The snapshot released worked, but not the non-snapshot release for some reason. Anyone know why that might happen? I can't figure it out. github.com/reibitto/sbt-welc…

Ah finally got it. That "402: Payment Required" error was misleading. I was looking at publishing limits and so on 😭 It looks like the non-snapshot was still going to a legacy server. I guess you can still use the legacy server but have to pay? I don't know but glad that's done.

Updating to the latest Nvidia drivers broke my PC. I'd just get a black screen where I could only see my mouse cursor. It was a pain to rollback the driver in that state. Apparently this is a very common issue and has been going on for months. What's Nvidia doing over there? 😭

GIMP 3.0 is out and they finally fixed the UI scaling! Maybe I can actually comfortably use it now 😂 Let's give it another try.

After 4 years of using Windows for work, I'm going back to a MacBook. Company just ordered a new M4 with practically everything maxed out (except 64gb instead of 128gb). It's ridiculous expensive, especially with the exchange rate. Nearing 5000 USD 😭 Glad I'm not paying for it.

It should be coming soon. I'm curious how I'll like it. The reason I switched off MacBook was because I had an absolutely terrible experience with the generation with that awful butterfly keyboard and touchpad. It broke multiple times for me. Anyway hoping for the best 😅

Finally back in Japan after 6 weeks in the US. 1. damn it's hot here (and apparently it was way worse while I was gone?) 2. I gained quite a bit of weight (as expected... 😅) 3. my flight was great, the 3 seats around me were all empty and nobody behind me either

Anyway, I don't think long trips like this are for me. I think my upper limit is like 3 weeks. Ideally 2. I realized I just can't relax and feel comfortable when I'm away from home.
