Evergreen pro-tip: At 8 p.m. ET, the polls will close in 79 of Michigan's 83 counties.
Four counties in the Western Upper Peninsula (Dickinson, Gogebic, Iron and Menominee) are in the Central time zone.
Now that's what I call a sophisticated NFL offense.
NOOOOOORRRRRRRRRVVVVVVVVV!!!!

Former #Raiders coach Norv Turner is coming out of retirement to join Las Vegas’ remodeled offensive staff, sources tell me, @RapSheet and @MikeGarafolo.
Scott Turner, Norv’s son, is a top candidate to handle playcalling after OC Luke Getsy’s firing. Now, it’s a family reunion.
Once again, the walkoff touchdown in OT is stupid, but all you have to do is get your defense off the field.
A return of “shame and spitting!”
I thought my combination MLS/classical choral music jokes were done for the year when Justin “I Was” Glad got eliminated.

Promise I’m not trying to go all Gerby on the bit but I still don’t quite get why this game was flexed. I mean, the Vikings are probably worthy of prime time, but against…the Colts?
Also, did Carrie Underwood have to make a special trip to the studio just for that?
Meh. Packers needed a perfect game today and they were far from it. Hopefully like last year they get things fixed before they go to Ford Field.
Tom Brady with a “math is hard” ((C) @BruceCiskie) moment there.
Also, is it bad that I now celebrate when the commercials are for cars, food delivery and Burger King and not the election?
Well, other than the rampant penalties, mental errors, poor technique, missed opportunities and a quarterback compensating for an injury, no notes on that first half out of Green Bay.
So basically they’re first and second in drops.
Tough conditions with the rain, but the Packers have 3 drops today, bringing their total to 18 on the season, per
@ESPNStatsInfo.
That's tied for the second most in the NFL this season behind only the Jets' 19 drops.
Once again, I am seeing more Vikings fans bitching about the Branch ejection (which I’m not sure I agree with) than Lions fans.
It’s really fun to see the footwork on display from the running backs on both sides. Learned about the importance of that from former Tech football coach Tom Kearly.
