Three things should be clear by now:
1. There is no harmony of interests between the LGB and TQ. These represent distinct groups with different and often conflicting wants and needs.
2. The huge rise in young people identifying as part of the "LGBTQ community" was driven largely by heterosexual teen girls and young women who were responding to social cues and incentives.
3. In turn, that swelling of ranks helped activist groups claiming to represent "the LGBTQ community" to mobilize more effectively on behalf of institutional change.
American teens are becoming straight again, with - especially - female bisexuality in sharp retreat in the youngest cohorts.

If you were Israeli leaders, and believed you were being globally accused of crimes you didn't commit in Gaza, what's the first thing you'd do?
Urge the international media to go to Gaza and report the truth.
But if you know the accusations are true, you'd ban international media from reporting freely. That's what Israel is doing even a year after a "cease-fire," and the reason could not be more obvious.

With these major Ukrainian advances in the Lyman & Slovyansk directions, monthly frontline km² changes are gonna look crazy for September.
Obviously, as I've always said, this is a war of attrition, where success is measured in attrition dealt to your enemy relative to his size. Km² advances on the side inflicting the higher levels of attrition (Russia) are typically a biproduct of that successful attrition.
But its undoubtable that Ukraine's successes here have been a mix of extreme incompetence by the Russian Zapad command, and a very well-planned and executed operation by the Ukrainian command, who has long evolved from the hard lessons learned during the 2023 counteroffensive and the Kursk operation.
These Ukrainian advances will delay the battle for Slovyansk by at least several months (and Kramatorsk by extension, as both cities would likely have to be taken simultaneously in my opinion), and will prevent Russia from re-entering Lyman (let alone capturing it) for some time, resulting in many more Russian casualties that will be suffered in the future. The southern Ukrainian bridgehead east of the Oskil River is also now safe from being cut off from the south, and Svyatohirsk has been re-established as a safe, rear logistical hub for the Lyman direction, as it is now around 25 km from the nearest Russian-controlled territory.
In turn, I think we can expect an intensification of Russian offensive operations towards Druzhkivka and Dobropillya, with the eventual goal of developing a large left flank to Kramatorsk, cutting off the main highways leading into the city from the west. I also advise you all to keep an eye out on Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and Chernihiv Oblast, the latter of which may see some cross-border incursions soon aimed at stretching limited Ukrainian manpower.

The Boston Globe has just published a shockingly sober article about the nonexistent genocide supposedly targeting the transgender community.
In it, they cite a report I coauthored showing that the murder rate is actually lower for trans-identifying people than the general population. Our report was responding to the HRC's annual reports pushing the narrative that there is an ongoing "Epidemic of Violence" against the transgender community.
The reporter says he "offered the Human Rights Campaign's key researcher, the transgender woman Charleigh Flohr, or anyone else with the organization an opportunity to rebut the Manhattan Institute finding, but they didn't reply to me."
That's unsurprising because the HRC is engaging in fundraising propaganda. They don't care about the truth, only promoting the narrative.
Our report presenting the actual data is irrefutable. That's why they have nothing to say in response.

🚨NEW: Our critique of a major "brain sex" study is now published.
@AdamRochussen, @NeuroSGS, and I evaluate a central premise of gender activism and medicine: that trans-identifying people have brains that are shifted away from their sex and toward their "gender identity."
The "brain sex" concept is so central because it purports to provide an empirical scientific basis for the notion that a child can be "born in the wrong body" and would therefore benefit from body-altering medical procedures to align their body with their mind/brain.
The problem is that this concept is pure pseudoscience and propped up by deeply flawed methods and badly misinterpreted data.
One of the most prominent studies is Kurth et al. (2022), published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, which claimed that the brains of transgender women are shifted away from their sex and toward their "gender identity." The paper became one of the journal’s most accessed articles and has been cited in major media outlets, scientific papers, legal arguments, and policy discussions involving pediatric gender medicine and sports.
We point out that the paper's headline conclusion rests on a series of serious methodological problems.
Each group contained only 24 participants. The authors used poorly justified parametric methods, one-tailed post hoc tests, made no correction for multiple comparisons, and omitted important robustness checks. Once accounted for, the main finding is no longer statistically significant.
An even more glaring failure of the study was that it failed to account for sexual orientation, despite its known association with neuroanatomical variation and despite the authors having the relevant participant data needed to examine it!
We each repeatedly requested the anonymized participant-level data from the paper's lead author so we could independently evaluate the findings.
We received no response.
The evidence simply does not justify the sweeping "brain sex" conclusion for which this study has become famous.
