Liam Cunningham delivers opening remarks at the first night of Macklemore’s ‘Free Palestine Tour’ in Dublin:
“Enjoying tonight does not mean forgetting about the suffering in Gaza. It means celebrating the humanity and life that Palestinians have fought so hard to protect.”

The last coverage we shared together, Hossam. 💔
I miss you, my brother. I miss covering stories with you, your voice, your laughter, and having you by my side. Since you left, even life has become dull, and the camera has lost its meaning without you.
May Allah have mercy on you, my brother, and reunite us in Jannah. 💔
Macklemore speaks at the opening night of his ‘Free Palestine Tour’ in Dublin:
“Those two words [Free Palestine] are so threatening to some people. They would rather silence those two words than confront what they actually mean. Freedom that requires another person’s oppression isn’t freedom at all.”

Excellent visual summary of my last report on MEDIA and Genocide
▶️Israel has tried all it could to eliminate professional reporting from/on Gaza: through propaganda, censorship, influencers
▶️Western media has often been Israel's house organ:for habit, convenience or just racism

Happy Birthday to the handsome man profiling in the dark shirt—that’s our father Andrew J. Rodrigues, J.D., co-founder of the Gullah Museum. He would have been 90 years old today. He was a brilliant speaker, researcher, amateur historian, and Gullah Geechee culture warrior. This is one of my favorite photos of him sitting with my mother and their friends on Cape Cod in the early 1960s. Daddy was a Roxbury boy from Boston—if you know you know—but he came down to South Carolina on a track scholarship in the 1950s, fell in love with Vermelle “Bunny” Smith, and the rest is history. They moved to Boston after graduation, and had the first of four girls. Bunny was a high school home economics teacher, while he worked as a chemist for the FDA, but that wasn’t where his heart was. He went to night school at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. This photo is a moment in time in a life well lived—we miss him, his dry New England wit, and the way he looked over his glasses at us when he was about to use it.

It has been a year since the kidnapping of the journalist Muammar Ibrahim by the RSF militia. He was the only journalist reporting on ground during the siege. He didn’t have any political affiliation. He simply reported the truth.
