Not me getting super hyped to play Veilguard now we've moved into our new house & bought a new TV. Only to realise its not available on PS4 😩 Tried to comfort myself w/ plans to play Origins/DA2 in the meantime, but ofc you can't play those either 🙃

I've had every PS console since the OG PS1 and I love PlayStation, but this feels like such a nonsense turn off. I get the reasons for the PS4 not being able to run Veilguard, but I haven't been able to afford the (still steep) price tag even years after release

Putting feelers out to see if there are any marginalised friends here who would be interested in being the co-creator & co-host of a new games podcast? Ideally with podcast XP, esp on the creation and production side of things

I'm specifically looking for ✨️co creators✨️ (singular or multiple) rather than guests at this time as that will come later down the line I can also provide further info to anyone who might be interested 😊

Absolute insanity when I spoke to an estate agent and was told that an annual income of just under £36k p/a "isn't enough" and a budget of £1300 p/m for a 1 BEDROOM place is "too low" 3 years ago I got a 1 b/r flat for £1175, and 5 years ago a 1 b/r HOUSE for £1100????

Trying not to be too panicky about the situation bc that's not going to help but also absolutely RAGING that rent has been driven up so high that it's not affordable for most people. Even with 2 incomes.

Also had another one tell me a property I was enquiring about was already gone bc it got 4 offers and the LL accepted someone who could pay 6 months upfront like... okay well some of us aren't rich and don't have parents who can float us. I still deserve somewhere to live?

I find it incredibly hard to concentrate on reading nowadays so when I find a book that grabs me enough to actually finish it I need to tell people about it I read this after seeing Alien: Romulus at the cinema & it perfectly scratched the "more space horror pls" desire

I hate how everything costing a fortune is so normalised now. What do you meeeean £150 for a concert ticket? What do you meeeean £100 for a train ticket? What do you meeeean £50 for a family to have a chippy tea? What do you meeean £7 for a single pint? Robbing bastards!!
