Genuinely couldn't care less about seeing superheroes clash on screen together if you’re not going to use the language of film to adapt comics as a medium in visually interesting ways.
This is what a real comic book film looks like.
I saw this one video of spider-man in avengers campus interacting with this little kid; it was so cute I had to draw it

If there's one thing I like about Hurricaneger, it's that the show isn't afraid to have the characters say "Our abusive dad fucking sucks" without pulling the "He did it to protect us 🥺" crap.

Crazy how Spider-Man was initially the first “kid superhero” to not be a sidekick, and now he’s like the biggest sidekick of all time in a lot of new adaptations.

I genuinely think that’s what made it work so well. The buildup was long and drawn out to the point that it felt obvious Buck was gonna spare him. For a moment, it felt like their bond was gonna stop Buck from pulling the trigger—
And then he pulled it anyway.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 star Arty Froushan revealed that Buck Cashman originally didn’t kill Daniel Blake on screen — the shocking headshot was added later with CGI.
“When we shot it, Buck points the gun at Blake, but he doesn’t pull the trigger. He spares him and tells him to run away.”
Instead, Buck lies to Kingpin, saying he killed him. But the creators later changed it in post.
“They CGI’ed me shooting him in the head.”
Showrunner Dario Scardapane said once they tested the edit, the room went silent.
“They mocked it up really fast, and you could have heard a pin drop in the editing room… like, holy shit.”
Michael Gandolfini agreed with the show's creative team that his character's death was the right narrative choice, stating,
"If I didn't think it was right, I'd fight you guys... but I was really grateful that they gave Daniel such a respectful goodbye".
The actor felt that, after his character's actions in the show's "hateful darkness" arc, it would have been dishonest for him to survive.
