freedom comes when we liquidate it into the world socialist commonwealth
A good thread: I thought the film a good artistic interpretation, but leaves out the actually sophisticated political organisation of the rebels. It's as good as film can be on the subject.

"interests": hands up who wants to be Pirate Island?
"And we will continue to isolate Iran so that they reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which is so essential to tackling the cost of living crisis here at home." Nicely trying to tie the interests of the workers together with the capitalists: is this our war? Think not.

There will be a lot of noise about the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Labour and the Greens competing over who can be trusted to handle the cost of living crisis. Neither, though, will address the root cause of the crisis, that society is run on behalf of those who own the land and factories.
Until these are brought into common ownership, there will be poverty and unemployment, as this is how the owners get us to work for them. Our aim is to get this message out through the noise. You can help punch through the noise by getting people to write World Socialism across their ballot paper.

How did this happen? Mostly, universities have kept staff costs much lower than inflation. In the below chart, simple RPIX uplift should be 41.2%.
interesting fact here: theconversation.com/as-ukrai… The latest (and outdated) estimate for rebuilding Ukraine is 3 times its GDP, almost certainly more.
"The objection is narrower: against a tradable gilt of the same term, the holder gives up the right to sell, and will want paying for it." So, the cost of borrowing would be higher under this plan?
Every day another news story says Britain is under pressure from global instability.
Why can’t we just build homes, and clean energy, with secure jobs?
Turns out the answer is even better than I thought.
See what you think.
