Remember how we said Jason Kenney was the worst Premier ever and that led to Smith taking over? The exact same thing will happen when she’s forced to resign or loses the next election. The next UCP leader will be even more extreme. So….. let’s avoid that, k?

> Fracturing will continue throughout the globe as people are forced to live under laws and regimes that are counter to their values and way of life. *nods* This will only increase with low IQ, low trust immigration
Ever since I was in high school I have been fascinated by separatist movements. In undergrad I took a one credit seminar looking at Canadian separatist history. When @YesScotland tried to gain independence from the UK, I donated to the cause, even though I generally disagree with the progressive Scottish politics behind it. And while "remain" will almost certainly prevail tonight in Alberta, the process itself is a window into the dissatisfaction many are feeling. Fracturing will continue throughout the globe as people are forced to live under laws and regimes that are counter to their values and way of life. Voted like the one happening today in Alberta will become more common.

Gen X coded campaign very cool
JUST IN: Canadian man wins city council election after telling voters he has no idea what he's doing, doesn't enjoy politics, & is unqualified for office.

I’d be willing to get onboard with some anti-immigrant bandwagons if they focused less on race or religion and more on measurable data like IQ or trust (do you trust your fellow citizens or institutions?).

One thing I hate about athletics culture is you really need money to compete in order to get to an elite level. In some sports this means the disadvantaged never get a chance. I don’t have a solution but I’m willing to listen if someone does.

This man has an amazing mind//body connection. How many of us can explain in plain language what we do with our bodies when we’re winning in an athletic competition? He can do it and with a smile.
Can’t lie, gonna be thinking about “the past is dead, there’s nothing for you there” all day.

Immigration is the salient issue
The Red Deer rock station 98.9 did a straw poll call in show on the referendum today. Many casting no to separation, but yes to the immigration questions.
