Where do I stand politically? I am an Independent.
I have voted for Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian political candidates.

Sen Katie Britt start out with charges that no one should be prosecuted because of their political views then tries to tie operation arctic frost to Jack Smiths work when Artic frost started 2 years before anything Jack smith investigated. She has lost the plot in Her opening!
Senator Kennedy got slapped for cutting off Jack Smithʻs answers and he charges Jack Smith with Filibustering. You asked let him answer.
Senator Grassley asked questions with charges but did not listen to the answers that did not support his claim. When he disagreed with the answers he made charges the were disproven by the answers he got, them made innuendos toward Mr. Smith actions. This was unprofessional.
Senator Grassley should be held in contempt of the US with the false information he stated in his opening statement. It show how little he understood the investigation and how teh DOJ works and should work!

Leavitt conveniently forgot the part where Republicans stuffed those provisions inside a massive tax and spending bill Democrats opposed as a whole.
Voting against the entire bill is not the same as voting separately against tax relief on tips or overtime.
And calling Democrats “affordability frauds” while Trump’s tariffs raise costs for American businesses and consumers is fucking comedy.
Leavitt’s entire economic strategy is taking a 1,000-page bill, cherry-picking three popular provisions, and pretending everyone who opposed the rest voted against those three.
It’s propaganda for people she assumes won’t fucking read.

When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of Donald Trump. I thought of the time before Donald Trump when he was a brother to Senator John McCain.
A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God ever created.”
That is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after. Because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love.
I will choose to remember the time before Trump. Because I believe in an America after Trump.
