Did Seantor @ElissaSlotkin say people should be prosecuted just for working for the Trump administration? As with the Talarico in a mental hospital story, something going viral on right-wing twitter is based on lies. This happens again and again. She's talking about prosecuting people for the unprecedented corruption that this administration has engaged in. Of course that's what she was talking about. This administration is so corrupt and so lawless that there aren't enough prosecutorial resources in the world to pursue every case. They'll get away with almost everything. Slotkin is talking about bringing justice to at least a few of the criminals. Here's what Slotkin said shortly before the selectively edited clip. "Number two, we do have to have accountability for the unbelievable corruption that we are living under right now. But you can’t just make that your whole personality, right? So you have to pick signature cases and you have to go after people and projects that are just super egregious. So everyone knows the East Wing of the White House, right? And people feel that in a way that’s different from a nameless contract at the Pentagon or whatever. So, you need to pick those signature cases and go hard on accountability, not just Trump, right? Because of course there will be moments of like, let’s go after Trump himself as someone who voted to impeach him twice. Like, he’s still there, right? But the people around Donald Trump who are doing his bidding and enabling this have no such immunity. They have no immunity the way the president does. And to me, he couldn’t do any of this stuff without all those people saluting and and supporting it. So you go after the people who do did his bidding." It's amazing to me these people still have a victim complex. Trump barely pretends to care about the law. He fires prosecutors until they bring him the cases he wants. Trump supporters simply refuse to accept the truth about what this administration is. So of course, they need to constantly lie.

People want violent protests so that *they themselves* can watch them from the comfort of their phones & talk about them on social media. They don’t actually want the violence to disturb their lives and communities, they just want to feel like they’re watching the movie Divergent

A good reminder that mass-coordinate lying is a central fieature of MAGA. What she actually says is widespread criminal conduct and corruption around Trump shld be prosecuted. So people will know there is accountability for crimes and they won't participate. Anti-crime agenda.

We should double property taxes for people over 65 to encourage downsizing and free up inventory for young families

They break the law, they should be prosecuted. That's how deterrence works. She's not saying prosecute people for nothing. "Intellectual" conservatives have to pretend that the Trump regime is non-criminal for their own psychological reasons.

I'm writing 14,000-word economic studies proposing to rein in Social Security & Medicare benefits in order to prioritize younger people instead. Instead, I should just circulate people like this guy - he's doing more to undermine big boomer benefits than any studies I publish.
