The Republicans deserve to lose control of Congress. Sadly, that will mean empowering @SenWarren, whose understanding of basic economics comes in around zero. See, for instance, her fears of hot sauce mergers and failure to acknowledge declines in malls. reason.com/2026/10/19/be-pre…

A Trump appointee concludes that the president likely violated the First Amendment when he banished disfavored journalists from the White House. Trump himself supplied the evidence supporting that conclusion. reason.com/2026/10/14/a-trum…

A poll conducted in August 2025 found that blue-collar workers supported the tariffs by a narrow margin. Now, that same segment of the population has turned decisively against Trump's tariffs: 58 % oppose them, compared to just 36 % who support them.

"What a conservative is today is far different than it was 11 years ago, you know? And the parties are completely different. If it were up to me, I'd get rid of all political parties. I think they've outlived their usefulness. They're just a way to raise money and to try to aggregate power as opposed to the power of ideas. I don't give to politicians. I don't give a penny to politicians. Either you agree with what I have to say and you think it's of value to you, or you don't. And I have no intent of changing that."
I interviewed @mcuban for @reason. We talk about his @costplusdrugs company, why he appeared with @jamestalarico, and how Texas went from blue to purple to red to...whatever is happening now. And more. Video+Audio+Text

However.
With Kelly Clarkson & Molly, it’s far too late. The public has been summoned, and the public demands closure.
