Happy New Year to you all! I couldn’t have given Jacob the best year of his life without each & everyone of you and I’ll be forever grateful to all involved, from the likes to the donations-everyone of you is awesome and as for 2025? Let’s go🎉

Thank you to all my followers that have donated, shared and ‘liked’ my adventures in 2024. It’s been an amazing year with too many highs to list but at the heart of everything you’ve helped me raise a shed load of cash for an amazing charity in memory of my mum. Thank you🙏🏻

35 years ago, the last episode of #Blackadder Goes Forth was screened. 3 hours of unmatched hours of comedy to many of us. But there was a deeper message throughout encapsulated in this moving final scene. #lestweforget Vid: BlackadderQtes

Thank you so much to the followers who offered to pay for our flights to France but I’d rather you donated to Jacob’s fundraiser & Ryan Air donated the two tickets for Jacob’s trip. So one last shot before I pay for the tickets myself…anyone know a Ryan Air PR email address?

Any followers connected to Ryan Air that could help with two free or discounted flights Manc 2 Carcassone? It’s for Jacob’s charity trek across the Pyrenees in August for the hospice that cared for his mum. Bit of an ask but I’ll donate 50% of the saving to Jacob’s fundraiser.

This is ridiculous! @HM_Passport please sort this out ASAP. Being a solo parent brings enough to deal with in itself without having to revisit all past trauma and triggers. Can my wonderful followers retweet for as much exposure as possible! 🙏

1/3 Good morning @HM_Passport. My 10 year old son’s 2nd passport expires in March. I completed an online application for his 3rd passport stating my wife, his mum died 3 years ago. Your office has asked for proof I’m his dad. I’ve applied for birth & marriage certs from GRO as

Building our new Young People's Cabin was a real highlight of 2023 🏚️💜 Having a purpose-built space is already making a big difference to how we offer bereavement support to the children we work with. 📸 Here it is nestled in our beautiful gardens

Missed wisdom Wednesday this week for a few reasons….but this seems fairly apt as we head towards the end of 2023…my last bit of wisdom I’ve learnt this year… There is always light. Even if ur in a dark room and struggling to find the switch. Take a seat, close ur eyes and remember who the fuck u are. YOU matter. The light inside YOU can push out the dark. You didn’t come this far to only come this far. (There have been a few moments this year when I was overwhelmed or indeed in a deep hole, but I’m still here, you carried me 🙏here….roll on 2024!) let’s see what u got! 👊👍🤘💪

Just incase anyone is seriously worried about my son being cold. He’s used to the cold, less than 12 mths ago we were north of the artic circle & swam outside in temps close to -30. He’s climbed mountains below freezing & in the snow. Oh-I’ve passed my first aid course too 😁 – at Leeds, England
